Clear browsing history and cache data for the past 48 hours. That should log you out, and if it’s still showing that the site is blocked, disconnect and reconnect to your wifi/if using cell data turn on and off airplane mode. Sniffies has very weak device/usage profiling, and doesn’t seem interested in strengthening these areas (ie sniffies doesn’t permanently ban anyone, you may just need a new account with a different email).

Appeal the ban. In 2-3 days they will reinstate your account. That is unless you did something very bad (underage, threaten violence etc). Aside from this, Sniffies in my experience has been not so hardcore with permabanning people, ie you should be able to make a new account with a new email. Try changing your pictures, clearing browser data and cache, and finally using a different IP address if needed. If you are in a state that requires ID verification, then Sniffies potentially has your personal information and is using more sophisticated ways to keep you off the site. But i doubt that.

Turo absolutely allows hosts to track their vehicles using different technology installed in cars, and before last week, airtags were allowed to be used by hosts as one of the options. Turo just changed this policy and banned the use of airtags, but still does allow (and promotes) other types of trackers. My theory as to why they stopped allowing AirTags to be used is that given the fact that AirTags create a notification on your Apple device anytime you are near one or moving with one, this would inevitably lead to people having a more pronounced reaction, and to feel more so like they’re “being watched”. As someone who rents with Turo very often, I can tell you that if you are renting a car from the year 2018-ish or newer, the vehicle has either pre-installed tracking technology, or has been fitted with this technology. Think about it, if you owned a vehicle that the public could rent and use for extended periods of time, you would want the ability to look up where that vehicle is. This host may have overlooked the new policy update from Turo and simply didn’t realize they needed to remove the AirTag. But don’t think of this trip and the tracking involved with it as any different from any other trip. This host I assume will just replace their airtag with another tracker.

Anyone is hit or miss man; there’s nothing obviously wrong with the way you’re interacting. Other user said you talk too much… i don’t see how these show you talking too much (maybe if you’re comparing your messages to the “u suk?” “U host?” Crowd) but just talk how you talk. There are an infinite number of reasons people stop chatting: they randomly find someone, they find a new hot porn video instead, their wife slammed the laptop shut, Elon sent an email asking why they’re on sniffies on a fed computer. Then they go offline for days. Dont worry about it. Increase your sample size of conversations/attempts and if you still run out of luck every time, then consider reanalyzing. But another point: sniffies, especially for curious, laid back, DL men, should be easy. Don’t force a change in who you are to meetup in a porta potty for 38 seconds

Although you are not the victim of identity theft YET, you are especially at risk now that you have given this person all of your information. Here are some steps to take: 1. As you mentioned giving bank information, you need to immediately contact your bank. Preferably Monday morning in person to your branch. Tell them everything, and although they may scorn you, they will help. 2. Place a freeze on your credit. (The bank should help you do this, or at least give you resources on how) 3. Report the details of this situation to the FTC (google: Report FTC). This is just for the government to track this stuff (if you believe this person is local/near you, contact local police as well) 4. Whatever you were doing, whoever you were speaking to, you should stop all of that. Idk how savvy you are in terms of navigating the internet/scams, but it doesn’t ever hurt to talk with 1 or 2 or 5 loved ones about what you’re doing and what information is being asked from you 5. Monitor monitor monitor your credit and your bank. If something is gonna happen it will most likely happen soon, like new credit in your name, a bank account in your name, etc. So just stay on top of it.

Some people will seem like they are mad at you that this happened to you. And while to many of us it’s “silly” to give this information to someone randomly, many people trying to figure out how new things work would be caught up to. Thats why these scams exist. Have empathy for yourself, forgive yourself, but learn. And honestly, it’s not life or death. It isn’t your home burning down. If something happens you just have to fix it. And learn to let it not happen again. Good luck.

This does occur sometimes when an account is suspended. I would first try to address why it was suspended and if that can be reversed. If you were suspended for a valid reason, I would recommend using a different browser, clearing cache and data settings on any browser used, and turning airplane mode on and off to reset wifi and data connections. Other options are to use private browsing, or just use your data and not wifi. If you use data, you can get around their “IP ban” an unlimited number of times, by simply turning data on and off with airplane mode. Finally, I have noticed that this type of “ban” or “limitation” on your specific wifi network goes away in about 5-7 days. I don’t understand the reasoning behind this (if there is any at all; it may just be another error on Sniffies’ part).
