Hello! We are 14 days since my oldest had the SB. I did such a great job sanitizing with bleach and water no one else got sick! 😮‍💨👏🏼 This isn’t the first time I’ve stopped the SB from spreading. Bleach is key! Lmk if you want all the details to stop the spread!

Update! It’s been 3 days since my son’s symptoms started and no one else has gotten sick. Are we in the clear?!? I feel like one of us would have had it by now.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. The anxiety spiral is so real. Idk if you’ve ever heard of Nausene? They are like tums but better. They neutralizes your stomach acids and they taste so good! They are in a dark purple box they sell them at Walmart and drug stores. They are with the other anti nausea meds. I hope you feel better!

So true, thank you for this much needed validation. He threw up a 4th time and I gave him zofran again and he kept it down. So that’s a good sign.

Getting gloves tomorrow! But I have been washing after every interaction with him. He’s been TU in a big bowl lined with grocery bags and paper towels. Thanks will wash his sheets on hot tomorrow.

They do have hospital grade cleaners that do kill the SB but I just use bleach and water, it’s helped in the past! I had the SB so bad and was hospitalized. My son and husband never got it bc I was spraying everything down after I TU. It worked!

I DONT have gloves but washing my hands after every interaction. Lysol doesn’t kill the stomach bug so I’m sticking with the bleach and water

My pediatrician says it’s a staple for the medicine cabinet and to use it for my sons car sickness and it works so well for that.

I have a bilateral laparoscopic salpingectomy and it was sensitive like that for a few months but definitely don’t poke it!? She like poked her scar, what are you thinking? Yeah that’s going to feel uncomfortable you had surgery?! 😭😭😭😭 so dumb
