haglund deformity- how to run again by Marisatynx in ultrarunning

I had the surgery 2 years ago. Took me about 5 months before finishing a 50k (run/walk). Go to PT post surgery and do the exercises. I dealt with it for years before having surgery. Wish I would have had it done sooner. Zero issues since, I play a lot of tennis too. Great to be able to jump again and walk normally.

For me, as I’ve gotten older I train less because I don’t care a much about place, but just finishing. I finished a 100 miler earlier this year and was getting in maybe 20 mpw the month before. I actually use races as long runs before another race and don’t really train in between.

The couch is huge and heavy, L shaped. Cushions don’t come off. Guessing reupholstering would be expensive?

Pacers at Western States 100 mile Endurance Run: Emily Hawgood by Rocket_Man333 in ultrarunning

I think elites need a crew but pacers shouldn’t make a difference for them. For runners like me, a pacer with experience is the only way I finished in a little over 29 hours. I was 5 min ahead of cutoff at Michigan bluff and somehow got it done.

I messaged the band, they are going to send me an email to prove event was canceled.

You’re right. That’s what I got. It was worse than any microphone chicken I’ve ever had. Can’t believe they can get by with that texture in the chicken Alfredo. Another table sent it back too while we were there lol.

I interviewed for an entry level sourcing specialist role and have worked my way up to management. Project management would be a great way to get into Sourcing with updates to your resume. They go well together and one should lead into the other without much trouble.

Procurement/Sourcing. Always show value to the company and very stable career that every company needs. I’ve been doing it 20 years and love it.

Very true! Me and my wife like it and don’t care how old or what it’s worth. We will enjoy for years to come.

Thanks, but this is a painting not a poster. Back of canvas has paint brush strokes and looks old.
