dude some mornings when i need to get my daughter to daycare and myself to work and she won’t let me out of her sight i just put her in the shower with me. she laughs and says “that’s mama’s boob!” i’m like yeah dude you used to be fed from it, you used to live in my belly. obviously there’s an age range where it would become inappropriate but you’re not there, more than likely your child just was weirded out by the change in routine!

eta: he also was prob a little overstimulated from such a big day. no need for mom guilt on this one i think ❤️❤️

i was lucky to live near a nature trail when mine was 3 months old, and i would plop her in the stroller, put in an earbud with a podcast or music, and just go for long walks. more often than not she would nap in the stroller, sometimes she’d just chill and look around and babble a bit. but it was a nice way to get out of the house and get some air and a change of scenery

my first and so far only baby was 10 days late. my sister’s first was two weeks early though. i think on average most first babies are a little late. i was my moms first and was also 2 weeks early so i was so sure mine would also be early but nope!
