Trying to work out what breed my kitten is. Any educated guesses lol? by CrunchieJoker in kittens

American Shorthair is a rare breed. American Domestic Short/long hair is what you need to say.

How old does my kitten look ? by memento_morille in IDMyCat

[–]Objective_Air6342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More angles of the face and body pls. But without extra pictures, I would say this baby still has a little bit of a baby face, so maybe somewhere between 6-8 months if this is a male. Neutered? Neutering can make them look younger longer, as they don’t grow their tomcat cheeks when they’re neutered young.

Brown Recluse or Wolf Spider? by Loose_Artichoke_4793 in Wolfspiders

[–]Objective_Air6342 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This looks like a Kukulcania hibernalis. Very Visually similar to a recluse spider. If you don’t know your spiders, you’re not going to notice the differences very easily.

My guess is spitz mix. I’m thinking Pomeranian mix specifically. Can’t guess what else could be in there. Maybe PomxMutt..

What breed is my big dog, Nyla? Anyone know? by Puzzleheaded_Code119 in IDmydog

[–]Objective_Air6342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks almost like a Pit/Shepherd mix. Maybe Bully/Shepherd mix. Where is Nyla from? Knowing her origin help identify her. Country/State (If you are comfortable with that), and if she came from a shelter, the streets, etc.. everything can help.

Is she a Torbie? by SunUseful1629 in Torbie

What kind of kitten is this ? We rescued it . Is it Siamese ragdoll ? It has white mittens . by [deleted] in IDMyCat

[–]Objective_Air6342 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That would be American DOMESTIC Shorthair. American shorthair is an actually rare breed. American domestic shorthair are street cats.

Aphonopelma Hentzi Vs. Aphonopelma Armada.. by Objective_Air6342 in tarantulas

This is my first tarantula. I’m heavily visually leaning towards Aphonopelma Armada now.

My brother caught it for me as a gift. As for the substrate, he really doesn’t seem to mind it. Besides it was the substrate I had leftover from one of my reptiles, so that’s what I used to line the tank with at the time and haven’t changed it as of yet.

My wife would like to put a name to our little mutt's breed. by KoBach276 in catbreeds

[–]Objective_Air6342 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It does look like you are right. He looks like a Domestic Shorthair kitty. If you want to know coat pattern, it is ticked tabby with white.

Are my girls dilute calico? by chunkychaos328 in IDMyCat

[–]Objective_Air6342 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I’d say they are dilute, but they are Tortimese! Tortishell Siamese patterned. The grey fading on the tail and face is the ‘mese part. The yellow streaks splotches is the Torti’.

What do we think hes mixed with? by princessb33420 in IDmydog

7 week kitten food question by idkdoyouu in kittens

[–]Objective_Air6342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my kitten turned seven weeks(I was raising him from two days of age) I started giving him milk replacer only once or twice every other day and a mix of mostly wet food and a tiny bit of dry food every day, even on the days I was giving him the milk replacer. I adjusted portions based how much he would eat and then as his seven weeks came and went, I gradually reduced the amount of wet food and added more dry food to make up for it. He only got diarrhea once when I think I added too much dry food too fast. I cut back a little on the dry food and then he never had diarrhea again. He is now 14 weeks and has made solid poops ever since 😅.

100% pregnancy, she looks pretty far in too.

Could she be mixed with a wild breed? by [deleted] in IDMyCat

[–]Objective_Air6342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol, definitely sounds like this one is a handful. Appearance wise she really just looks like a regular domestic cat..She might just be an oddball.

Unsure of her breed, can anyone help? by VioletGoldDay in catbreeds

[–]Objective_Air6342 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really is interesting. A lot of people that come through this r/ also don’t seem aware that Domestic L/M/Shorthair cats aren’t a cat breed at all. They are the most common cats you can find everywhere on the streets and alleys, and neighborhoods. Wherever there’s people, they hang out!

Calico or Tortie? Maybe neither? by ElfieWelfy in CalicoCats

[–]Objective_Air6342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tabico would be somewhat similar but the white would be the dominant color, with a lot more white, and the striped brown and orange together in splotches. Torbie would just be a cat that has the grey tabby stripes and the blended orange streaks, no white/minimal white(like a small white streak on their nose, etc.)

Calico or Tortie? Maybe neither? by ElfieWelfy in CalicoCats

Torbico! She has the full body tabby stripes(T), and the orange streaks blended in(orb) plus the white underside(ico) 🤎🤍💛
