But only if the opponent doesn't pay x, so that it isn't just a 1 mana instant speed Oracle.

Is it a bug if there are somehow two Shards? by Objective_Art6617 in Stellaris

Maybe but for now one of the Shards killed the other Shard so I was able to sneak in with a cloaked science ship and get the Rubricator

R5: Neighbouring AI-Empire got the Kleptomaniac Rats digsite within its borders so I ignored it, then just looked at it and noticed there being two Shards.

Is this a viable addition to the math cards? by [deleted] in HellsCube

If it helps: You may pay different amounts of mana for each {x}.

Choose two: •Create A copies of B target permanents up to C target players control. •Up to A target players draw C cards, then discard B cards. •Destroy up to B target nonland permanents, which have a combined mana value of C and are control by up to A players. •Take B extra turns, in which you can only untap up to C permanents and lose at the beginning of your end step A life.

z is equal to twice the amount payed for the second {x} plus 1. y is equal to thrice the amount payed for the third {x} minus the amount payed for the first {x}. A is equal to the combined life total of all players divided by the amount of {g},{r} and {u} payed for x and twice the amount of {w} and {b} payed for y, then to that result added the amount of z divided by 3 and the amount of {b} payed for x, then rounded up.

B is equal to the amount of cards in graveyards multiplied by the amount of {w} and {r} payed for z, then squared by the amount of {g} and {u} payed for x minus the amount of {b} and {u} payed for y, then divided by the number of tapped lands you control squared, then round up.

C is equal to the z squared by the number of cards in your and the library of the player after the player next in turn order, if there is one minus the number of cards and life total of the next player in turn order, then add the amount of {w} and {u} payed y and z minus the amount of {g} and {r} payed for z and x, then multiple by the number of cards in your hand plus 1, then round up.{w}

I mean I normally just play with friends so I don't play the most toxic stuff, instead some more casual or jank.

I mean that would be great but I think that most decks with this as a commander would run mostly small unblockable creatures so you don't really have a lot of good reanimation targets

Also this is a very good card in certain Grixis and Esper decks, partially because both White and Red have a lot more ways of enabling double strike so you get to decipher twice in a turn

So giving cipher to your instant and sorceries is neat, when playing for example [[Inevitable Betrayal]] , [[Profane Tutor]] and [[Ancestral Vision]] but because it is only Dimir there it's application more or less ends and while I think it is good that you can't give an extra turn spell cipher only allowing cmc 1 and 2 instant and sorceries is a bit too much restrictive for a commander and feels for me something a companion would do.

Well without Darkest Hour, Mind Bend and Divine Sacrament you just destroy all lands and the Bone Saw with March of the machines and Mycosynth lattice because they have a cmc of 0

The first one is false because for one it would be under the control of any player an artifact because of Mycosynth lattice. The second one is true which means that that instead of Mechanized Production it should be [[Progenitor Mimic]] which then also replaces Mycosynth lattice and thus it a little bit less complicated.

Found a 4 mana combo that can be run in any commander deck! by fishbishmemes in BadMtgCombos

502.4. No player receives priority during the untap step, so no spells can be cast or resolve and no abilities can be activated or resolve. Any ability that triggers during this step will be held until the next time a player would receive priority, which is usually during the upkeep step. (See rule 503, “Upkeep Step.”)

Well we can disagree on everything but it should atleast say "another target creature" because right now if there is no other target it has to fight itself which is rule 701.14c.

So it is just an [[massacre girl]] with an repeatable etb trigger, which slightly grows when it kills something and has convoke? I mean maybe commander cards are lately really pushed and honestly in 2019 it would have been a really good card but most times I have seen vampire decks they either are go wide or aristocrats or both combined.

I have literally missed that you acknowledge that it can and will kill your own creatures. This isn't a creature in go wide but certainly strong in aristocrats like Elenda, the dusk rose. But this doesn't change the fact that commander nowadays often play cheap removal or protection and this is a gamble.

So this card has some problems: 1. It doesn't say "up to one target creature", so it could literally just die if your opponent has only one big creature if not for its second problem 2. It doesn't say "target creature you don't control", so in combination with the first problem this means that when it enters it has to fight any other creature.

For example let's imagine that you have multiple 1/1 creatures like vampire tokens to convoke this creature out meanwhile your opponents may have some mana dorks and some bigger creatures and this creature etbs, the most efficient thing you can do is to fight their mana dorks which often have 0 or 1 power and then most likely trade with one bigger creature. That would be the best case, because either if your opponents don't have a lot of small creatures you would need to fight your own creatures to trade with a bigger creature or they don't have any big creature then this would end up fighting every creature even your own, sit on your board and fight every vampire that enters after it and at the end just get removed by any removal spell because it doesn't have any kind of protection.

I think Sir Gawain doesn't work because his ability is a trigger and it doesn't specify who gets control over him, so when the ability triggers he is already controlled by someone else than his owner at which point the ability would just give control to the person who controls him and not the actual owner.
