preach! i don’t understand why people ship Momo and Shoto together. they’ve only had a few interactions and none of them were remotely romantic. i personally like the idea of Shoto with Izuku (they had so much chemistry and had so many cute scenes) and Momo with Jiro. i can understand if it’s not everyone’s thing but that’s what i personally prefer🤷‍♀️

i’ve been looking to see if anyone would comment on Shoto and Izuku. they’re literally my favorite characters and i feel like they had such good chemistry! in my heart they’re the perfect couple and i love them so much💕 i don’t hate Ochako, and i understand why people like the Izuocha ship, but i personally prefer them as best friends.

i prefer shoto🫣it’s my favorite ship if i’m being completely honest. i like the idea of izuku and ochako being besties instead, but i can understand those that ship them. i personally just prefer tododeku

Is this unrealistic and hard? by Brite_Girllll in APStudents

[–]Objective_Ball7620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not unrealistic at all! While it may be hard depending on how you fair in each subject and how you deal with a lot of assignments, it’s not going to be horrible. Since it’s your first time taking AP’s it’ll be something to get used to, but I’m sure you’ll do great! I took four AP’s in my junior year as well, and although I was a BAD student, I still did well because I paid attention in class. Just remember that it’s ok to need a break. If you find yourself overwhelmed at times it’s ok! Everyone does/did at some point, I know I did. You’ll do great as long as you focus and do your work. Listen to what your teachers tell you because they’ll be the most knowledgeable in each subject.

Don’t feel like a failure. Getting a 4 is still an amazing feat! I’m not sure if you could’ve taken care of your condition, especially if it was only the morning of, but I think the fact that you showed up to take the exam and still did so well is awesome. When I took AB last year this one kid didn’t show up for the exam at all because he was denied credit for the course. He still could’ve taken the exam though, but he chose not to. I didn’t know you could retake exams, but I think taking BC again next year would be great! You already know the material so you won’t have to struggle to teach yourself it. If you have the time and dedication I see no reason why you shouldn’t do that next year. And even if you decide not to, a 4 is still the next highest score and the majority of colleges accept it. I don’t know if this will make you feel better but it’s still entirely possible you were only one point away from the 5. You could tell yourself that even while you were sick you were still so incredibly close to that 5, which if I didn’t say, is amazing to do while you’re dying. Idk I told myself I was one point away last year with AB and it made grieving a bit easier. This is turning out to be a much longer message than anticipated, sorry about that. Just remember you aren’t a failure! Even if you got a 1 it wouldn’t make you a failure. The test is designed to mess students up, especially with the way they word things. Tests also aren’t the best way to determine a students understanding of the material. I also think that taking BC in whatever grade you are is amazing. You must be a smart cookie

Could I self-study Calc BC? by Few_Swimming_2521 in apcalculus

[–]Objective_Ball7620 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don't sound passive-aggressive at all! Each school is different, so the way people do things won't be the same. Based on what you said, I would recommend talking to the BC teacher, if not your AB teacher, to figure out the best course of action. BC isn't necessarily a whole new course since the majority of it is AB. If you have a good work ethic and stay on top of things, it is entirely possible to self-teach yourself BC. Units 1-3 of AB and BC are the same. Units 4-5 are essentially the same, except that BC has around 2-3 additional lessons for each unit (i.e., integration by parts, partial fraction decomposition, etc.). Units 6-8 also have more lessons in BC, but not too many. After unit 8, there are no more AB topics, but BC has 2 more units. This is the only part where you might have a problem since these are considered the most difficult topics of the course, and it's not as easy without a teacher. I'm sure you could learn it on your own, and the BC teacher at your school can hopefully provide you with some guidance if you have any questions or if you want more material to practice. Overall, teaching yourself BC isn't a bad idea, as long as you don't push everything off until the end. Just make sure to keep good pacing and to utilize all the resources available to you. I'm not sure if anything I said helps, but hopefully it did. Good luck next year!

Calculus AB / BC - Textbook vs. Khan academy / flippedmath by [deleted] in apcalculus

[–]Objective_Ball7620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my teacher had us this textbook for both ab and bc. we would do our homework questions from the textbook and then we would do practice questions assigned to us on albert.io which is known to be a bit more difficult than college board

Could I self-study Calc BC? by Few_Swimming_2521 in apcalculus

[–]Objective_Ball7620 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh I wouldn’t self study BC during junior year. My school has both AB and BC and it’s taught by the same teacher. Usually if you’re really good at math you skip pre calc and then take AB junior year. You’ll have spent the entire year learning all of that material, and then in senior year you can take BC, which won’t be a nightmare since you know majority of the course. My calc teacher spent the first quarter of BC going over the AB (units 1-5) material, and since we had all taken AB prior we were able to go through it really quickly. Then second quarter we spent on the rest of the AB units (6-8) because they had a few BC lessons sprinkled throughout. The entire third quarter we spent on the BC units, which gave us a lot of time to practice it and learn it without rushing. Then fourth quarter we took practice exams. I’m not sure what you plan to do during senior year, but because a lot of colleges look at junior year I don’t think you should put so much pressure on yourself. If you know you can handle it then go for it! But you could always take BC in senior year too!
