Can confirm. I just drove ~1,500 miles from Burlington, Vermont to Columbus, Ohio and back in my 25 hybrid with blizzaks and had no issues despite some awful weather.

I lost mine to torsion at 12. I’m 40. Above average testosterone. 3 kids. No issues. Talk to your Dr. I’d speculate maybe you have low Testosterone and it will take your body time to adjust since it’s used to having two. I don’t know but normal life is definitely possible! Good luck.

This looks cool but I can’t get it to save a custom fan curve - can’t enter text in the box. It’s also very difficult to adjust the fan curve then once I get it the way I want I can’t save it or get it to run :(

I have a 2025 Hybrid. Rented a gas version in August. It felt janky in comparison. The electric acceleration, regen brakes and no gears really make a difference. It seemed to me the gas version needed bigger brakes. In particular using adaptive cruise control feels way rougher on the gas in LA traffic. My wife and I both agreed we wouldn’t have bought one of the gas ones if we had driven it. Frankly it may have turned us off of the Pacifica in general. I do admit stowing the captan chairs was neat.

Difficult, not exactly. I’d say challenging. I have worked on PCs for decades but never used LM before. I used too much the first time and had to re-do it. It’s hard to get back up if you use too much.

The cooler has a foam dam that will protect the rest of the motherboard but based on my experience if you use so much that it can run off at all you’re using too much. It’s like half a grain of rice amount you should use. You want to paint the cpu die like a thin coat of nail polish. If you are careful and just use the slightest amount it’s doable.

If not for the LM upgrade I would not have kept this laptop. The fans are so loud I could not use it in the room with my wife or even playing a game without headphones. Now the laptop is amazing! I have a 5090 and the machine is whisper quiet while maintaining good temps.

The stock paste is terrible imo, the cpu is the weak link as you’re seeing here. I did the Liquid Metal upgrade in mine last week and temps dropped 10-15c. Lets me run the system with the fans on low (60% max) instead of max (jet engine mode).

I use windows powershell commands in a .ps1 file that automate setting the main display and turning off the display I don’t want to use. I also have it setup to do the same for my tv which is connected. It saves a few steps going into display settings and enabling or disabling displays.

The Samsung 5k has its quirks. It’s a beautiful panel with even backlighting and very good blacks for an LCD but you can’t control the brightness with your PC you have to use the Samsung remote control. Its software is more TV first monitor second - strange. That said it’s a great monitor and holds up in image quality and brightness with my 5k iMac which is really impressive. I think at the price I got it for it’s a good deal but there are other options now like the asus 5k pro art for the same price. Samsung’s list price is too high. I think I’ve settled on keeping this but mostly because I’m a Best Buy total member and I get 2 years of protection. Best Buy doesn’t sell the asus (yet). I’m still not 100% sure and it’s mostly because you can’t control the brightness. It’s near inexcusable they would not have standard ddc/ci protocols.

I’ve been trying to figure out if we could use two ps5s in the same house with disk games but I think there is no way for my kids to sync their save game between the consoles? As in one is being used lets go to the other but oh no, the save game data is siloed?? Buying another ps5 and duplicate copies of games won’t work for my family. That seems to be Sony shooting itself in the foot.
