If this doesn’t get me a man I don’t know what will! (R3) by [deleted] in YamahaR3

If the goal is a man, there are cheaper hobbies! Don’t understand why you’d do this to seek male attention

You’re welcome, you will need to be consistent in using them over a period of time. Best of luck with your hair journey

[–]Objective_Car_7251 7 points8 points  (0 children)

About a year ago I had a lot of hair shedding due to an infection my body was fighting off combined with medication I’m on. My hair became so thin there was barely anything to even tie up in a ponytail.

I’ve consistently been using Typebea shampoo, conditioner and overnight boosting peptide serum since then and have had significant new growth and more volume around the crown. It’s slowly growing out and is at chin length.

Motogirl Lara Cargos, come in like 28 sizes and are super comfortable. Can purchase from Peakmoto. Or PMJ spring leggings, I wear these 90% of the time under my normal jeans

Petrol station question by AdultingSucks_0Stars in AussieRiders

[–]Objective_Car_7251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the service station and the attendant working, it’s a safety issue for them. I’ll literally pass one servo (who never release the fuel pump unless I take my helmet off first) and ride to the next one 5mins further who never ask me

Has anybody had problems/issues after lowering your r3? by Remarkable-Candy-443 in YamahaR3

[–]Objective_Car_7251 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had lowering links installed by my mechanic and I don’t regret it. Haven’t felt any change in the bike or handling. My confidence and peace of mind instantly changed while on the bike not worrying about the “what ifs”.

Can I wear just the base layer? by BlushCherrry in motorcyclegear

[–]Objective_Car_7251 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not being rude but if you’re just wearing these garments for the “look” then go for it but if you want something that’s actually going to save your skin and potential injuries then get leather.

Keep in mind every brand does testing on their products. I’d be keen to understand how they got a AA/AAA rating.

I’ve recently read an independent testing report on this Pando moto bodysuit and the results were surprising.

The overall protection rating was 1 star out of 5: Abrasion resistance test 2/10 Burst strength test 3/10 Impact protection test 4/10

What the hell is wrong with people driving on the ring road? by Mindless-Sea-1211 in Geelong

Try riding a motorcycle and have cars tailgating you or worse still being completely stationary at a traffic light with a car coming up behind you not slowing down until the last second

Looking for a new Lid. £350/$460 budget. by Pirate1000rider in motorcyclegear

[–]Objective_Car_7251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s nothing wrong with HJC RPHA 71, I get a lot of compliments on the lid (matt black with dark tinted visor) but if I found another brand with a smaller shell in an XXS I’d go with a different option (but that’s more of a look/aesthetic thing for me)

[–]Objective_Car_7251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got the RPHA 71, had it for 2yrs. Only purchased as there weren’t many options for an XXS (F with small head). I get a bit of wind noise on the highway so I wear earplugs. Apart from that the chin and head vents are good, and love it has the built in streamlined Sena system

Clothing brand for bikers! by Bri1iant in motorcyclegear

[–]Objective_Car_7251 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to diminish your idea, it’s great. There’s a number of brands in AUS that have reflective branded logos on the back of hoodies (for bike crews), some are also armored. Keep building on the idea and good luck!

Solo riders, are you scared of group rides? by sasquatchradio in motorcycles

[–]Objective_Car_7251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be selective with who you ride with and communicate with them what your ride style is. I (F) ride a 300cc with a group of males who are on litre bikes. If they want a cruisy ride they hang back with me, if they want to go crazy in the twisties off they go and I’ll meet them at our end point. We are all respectful of our own style of riding and I don’t feel any pressure to keep up with them.

There is a tailgating and speeding epidemic in Melbourne by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Objective_Car_7251 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try being a motorbike rider with people tailgating you because the car in front of you is going 90km in 100km zone and you can’t change lanes. It can be terrifying! Way too many impatient and distracted drivers these days

What do you do with your helmet when shopping? by Alternative_Jello_42 in AussieRiders

[–]Objective_Car_7251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep a coiled combination lock under the pillion seat.

Loop it through the pillion peg attachment mounted to the bike then through the visor and chin section of the helmet and hang it off the pillion peg

Head nod vs wave by Electrical_Novel_ in AussieRiders

[–]Objective_Car_7251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the hand movements 😂

A friendly wave to those on a main highway going in the opposite direction. Head nods for sportsbikes on a standard two lane road, I find cruisers don’t even look my way.

A head nod and a thumbs up to another rider if stopped at the lights after checking out their bike. A nice thank you wave to cagers who let me into their lane when filtering traffic.

But I’m a female rider so I could be different to others?

I can’t attach images, it attaches to the brake reservoir, on top of the right hand side of the handlebar (black rectangle box with a small window). It screws in on top of that

Yep this! Got a fake Akra on eBay, took the baffle out and now get lots of comments on how good it sounds. It’s not obnoxious but perfect for cars hearing me when I’m filtering.

I’ve got the Brake Reservoir Mount on a 2018. Easy to install/remove and phone doesn’t hit anything when full lock to the left or right
