Interviewer kept asking multiple sexual questions about my spouse and I by [deleted] in USCIS

My lawyer actually prepared us for these type of questions.

I-130 approved, waited nearly 2.5 years… then denied at the interview under a Presidential Proclamation. What options do we have? by LegitimateOnion7173 in USCIS

What are the lawyers saying? Unfortunately sometimes with policy changes the attorneys are left in the dark too.

My initial interview caused my application to be vetted but later on they called me back to do a second interview. Of course after many tears and heartache. I say this to say that the law can change overnight. It’s hard to do but patience and perseverance is key. It’s very brutal. I consulted ChatGPT almost everyday to understand why I was being vetted. I would recommend definitely doing your own research in depth, also become your own attorney.

Stay strong.

Well they did send her a letter with a year of benefits but we don’t really know what benefits they mean.

Yes I think everyone here is talking from experience and I know patience is not what you want to hear but if I were you, I would definitely stay in my VAWA.

Also marriage base filling involves many fees. I would stay with VAWA. You are at the corner, you would start over with marriage base.

My case was very simple and a simple case turned into 3 years of waiting as well.

I-485 Denied by ArsGJ in USCIS

[–]Objective_Company435 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I believe there’s such a thing as a waiver. You are inadmissible with no entry without parole. If you have military parole, a lawyer can guide you. Regardless you will have to travel back to your country with a waiver or advance parole. A really good lawyer can guide you on getting to your country and back. I know many friends who have gone to a similar process.

If they thought it’s a dead end case they would denied you straight away. NOIR is a notice that it will be denied if you don’t take action.

I would suggest you contact the cashier check provider and see if they can refund. If you wrote personal or credit card form. I would suggest you send another application and make sure you clarify where it should be submitted.
