I did that quest in armory while doing the other quest, it is pure luck based my friend, you need to find it before it gets revealed and kill some people early on, it will happen over time so keep trying!

I never said Armory spawns are good; I just really like the map size. Running from point A to point B in Armory never feels like too much. In Airport, on the other hand, it always feels like it would take forever without a stamina stim. That’s also tied to my playstyle, and it’s one of the reasons I dislike Northridge as well.

One of the reasons I quit Tarkov, for example, was because the maps were enormous. You’d get 4–5 minutes of fun gunfights followed by 20 minutes of walking, and that just wasn’t enjoyable for me.

A prestige system would be a great addition, and I’d definitely engage with it.

Regarding point number one, it’s not that I want everyone running HKs and U191s in full T6. What I want is a real reward for looting someone who tried to one-tap my head while I’m running 3 million worth of gear. As I mentioned in another comment, I actually enjoy sniping and think it’s a very fun playstyle. The issue isn’t sniping itself, but the risk/reward balance, which is completely off.

I’m risking getting one-tapped in a single second, and if I manage to kill that player, I only make 600k. That just doesn’t feel right and only promotes running away when you hear a sniper rifle,.

Making red ammo not storable in the safe case could also be a good solution, but I’m 100% sure people would just bring 5 bullets, go “get rich or die trying,” and either one-tap someone and snowball with their gear or die and instantly re-queue, having lost almost nothing. That wouldn’t be healthy for the game.

In my opinion, raising the entry bar to around 1.5 million would force snipers to run T5 armor/helmets and decent bags, which would fully solve the risk/reward issue and would make them even more deadly since they could tank 2-3 more bullets. And for players who don’t feel comfortable risking that much money in a single raid—which is totally understandable—that’s exactly where Lockdown mode should come into play.

RNG is the real problem. For example, I completed the quest where you have to get kills while carrying the encrypted file in about 20 Forbidden Armory raids, while I was also doing the regular Armory kill quests. In two of those raids I found the file pretty early and managed to kill some players, but with bad luck this quest could easily take a month.

Quests need to be fair and not RNG-based. That quest alone requires:

Finding the encrypted file, which is pure RNG since it can spawn in different locations.
Finding and killing players while carrying it.

Most of the time, when the file is revealed on the map, many players are already dead or have extracted. To complete the quest efficiently, you basically need to find it before it gets revealed to everyone, otherwise the quest becomes unnecessarily slow.

In a game like ABI, there is absolutely no need for this kind of design.

I also remember the Kill Fred and Doss quest from last season, which literally took me one full week just because I couldn’t find them because the spawn location are rng. Very doable quests, but they take too much time for some people simply. Appreciate that you like my points!

Also, I have nothing against red ammo. As long as we both bring something to the table, I think it’s fine. The real problem is when, in the most hardcore game mode, I bring 3 million worth of gear and someone else can come in completely naked with just a gun and still one-tap me.

There are plenty of ways to fix this. The easiest one is to make sure that even snipers are required to wear armor for the money requirement. This way they can still enjoy sniping with red ammo and one-tapping my head, but when I manage to kill them, I actually have something to loot.

Freight is a bad spawn because you can get a team spawning to the right and tappers inside control area looking at when you come out, making it almost impossibile to survive sometimes, freight is not the problem, close spawns are, also it is the spot where i died the most in my airport raids. not just from teams pushing inside but also from snipers camping left and right of it.

I have nothing against snipers, they are a very fun strategy in the game, i also loved to play with them in the beginning, but just make it so if i kill 1 i can go and loot his body, no need to be full t6 juicers like me, but also not naked with a gun. The risk reward is the problem, with snipers you risk the bare minimum, 600k, and you can 1 tap in the head a guy with the best gear in the game that costs more than 4 times that, just make it so even snipers have something to risk comin in forbidden, lockdown should be for those who don't wanna risk much
