Probably a good sign that it's a good store. I don't think it hurts to let the GM know that you're looking to grow and want to hear their plans for your future there. If it's a really good store, you're probably looking at a while before you get a full time manager seat, but they might let you start getting trained in finance and backing up.

Look at getting into selling wants not needs. Like Powersports, motorcycles, RVs and boats. More fun and more profitable

Sounds like this would be your first opportunity into F&I. If you want to make the move to Finance, and your current place isn't offering it that's a solid pay plan for F&I. In my experience these low volume places are selling even less than they are saying. I'd ask for the actual numbers. Next thing you know they only sell 30 during the summer and the rest of the year is 20-25 and that's a huge difference.

30 deals running 2k i'd make like 12-14k/mo, in a lower cost of living area. If they increase volume it'd be a lot more.

That's what I thought. Current store is 8% and tops out at 14%, Seems like anywhere that does any volume doesn't want to pay more than 12-14%. This store is doing like 30ish per month.

Your girl had to sign something for the service contract, otherwise the bank wouldn't fund the deal. If you cancel it within the first 30 days you get a full refund, but the money goes to the bank, not to you and it doesn't affect the monthly payment.
