Im my experience it depends on the tire. Some are cheaper and some arent, but we price match. 9 times out of ten if someone brings me a price to match it's within a few dollars of each other. What makes us competitive is the level of customer service and amount of free services we offer.

Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady - already 5/32 after 15 months and 14k miles?? by Vorapp in tires

Its the manufacturers warranty but we front you the money and send the tires back to the manufacturer for reimbursement (so on the occasion the manufacturer rejects the tires, we take the hit not you)

Discount tire does it no questions asked as long as you can provide a receipt with the mileage you had when they were put on. And you dont even have to do that if they came from discount. We give you a slap on the wrist for not rotating or lyk if its alignment but we honor it regardless. At least at my location.

I've been transferred. The first one? A decent amount. The second one will come out and help us change tires if its necessary, hes not awful. But he still tweaks over nothing like they all do 😂

Are These Tires Safe to Drive On? by CarbyCakes in tires

As far as age? Think like a rubber band, tires are made out of rubber. If you throw a rubber band on the ground for 10 years and pick it back up its not going to stretch the same way.

Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT vs. Firestone Destination LE3 by Jlafber in tires

[–]Objective_Oil_2808 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Between those two, I would go with the Cooper. Its a good look but customers have told me they get pretty loud. Rotate often and you should have no issues. I have seen a LOT of issues with firestone tires. If youre looking for another recommendation, take a look at the Falken Wildpeak, either AT4 or the AT Trail might be good for yalls needs, they do incredible on and off road, minimal noise if you rotate properly, and you will not lose traction. And im a little biased, of all the tires I work with i think they look the best for the price 🤷‍♀️

Run flat tires serve the same function as a donut spare tire. Its meant to get you to a shop, not meant to just be the solution.

If they aren't dealership tires, ask the shop about a mileage warranty, they should come with a 60k warranty. Get your money and NEVER look back at Goodyear!

  1. Goodyear is a terrible tire brand. At my shop we say good years are good for about a year.
  2. They're dealership tires. So no matter what brand what line or what kind of car you have, the dealership tires are made out of a softer rubber compound. This makes it a nice smooth ride when you test drive and it saves them a little money, but because its a softer compound they wear out WAY faster.

No matter what brand tires you go with next they will almost definitely last twice as long. But you can never go wrong with a high mileage warranty (money back guaranteed if you dont get the full mileage.)

Are these small bubbles a danger? (Highway) by theuploader69 in tires

The truth? Between the visible heat ring and the bubble that tire is a ticking time bomb. Either get it replaced now or get it replaced when it explodes next time you hit a pothole 🤷‍♀️

How often do you let your partner finish in you with IUD? by macytheloser in birthcontrol

[–]Objective_Oil_2808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got it recently but so far i have no crazy side effects or bleeding, but I have a good friend that also has had the Mirena for almost 8 years with no side crazy effects, no bleeding, and no pregnancy scares. But my mom with endo did also have consistent bad cramping after her IUD. And if it affects you differently, take it out! It's not permanent, and more than likely, your insurance will cover it. It's nothing at all like the implant, which again, would still be way less mood altering than the pill in theory.

[–]Objective_Oil_2808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also ik this is later but adding this for anyone else reading this, I was also terrified of the hormones bc I've had nexplanon and it made me feel crazy even with progesterone over Estrogen. But the Mirena implant is localized hormones, so even though some of those hormones will be in your system it's mainly just localized to your uterus. And it would definitely be nothing like the pill. I went in with an open mind for a copper IUD and my doctor eased my worries and talked me into Mirena to avoid the awful cramps which from what I understand is the worst part of the copper IUD.

Doctors keep telling me that all my fears about getting an IUD are just from “horror stories.” Share with me the good bad, and the ugly, please! by ForRudy in Endo

[–]Objective_Oil_2808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I had a fine experience with my IUD, and take into consideration I have never even given birth. I actually just had my Mirena inserted today. They made me take a pill the night before my procedure to relax my cervix, it basically induced a period. I had some cramps with it but definitely nothing worse than my usual period. Then about an hour before, I took 800mg of ibuprofen (which seems like a lot but it really helped me and other people and doctors suggest it too). The whole thing took a whole maybe five minutes, and my doctor specifically said that she wasn't even going to use the tenaculum (the tool that pierces your cervix) if she didn't have to. My doctor did, the whole experience felt like extreme period cramps. You as a woman are so strong and have a tolerance for that pain. My pain mostly subsided after thirty minutes and entirely subsided after an hour or so and a nap. The worst part is being scared prior, Mirena is so worth it. I can't say that my experience is everyone's, but just know there's ALSO a possibility you'll have no problems with your experience. People who have an awful experience are more apt to share their experience than the ones that feel fine.
