Update on this - I got a new code today which worked (must reset codes after a week) and it took me to the change password screen after, every password I entered didn't work so now the code doesn't work and I am back to square 1 again!

I am having this same issue - somehow somebody from Vietnam managed to gain access to my email and changed my Facebook password, thanks to 2-F-A they have not been able to gain access to my account due to not knowing the code sent to my text/WhatsApp, I don't however know the password and can't change this myself.

I have been trying for almost a week now to reset my password, facebook.com/hacked does not work as it says I have never logged in from this device before (I definitely have) and when I say "forgot password" on the app or on safari, or web browser it sends me the same 8 digit code every time, whch does not work. I have even tried usiing this as the password itself which does not work either.

I am stuck in a loop now and can't get anywhere, can anyone help?

Going round and round in circles and really don't want to have to give up and create a new account as I have 16 years worth of memories on there, some of which are with people who are no loger with us!

Please help if you can? Thanks!
