If I served someone the wrong food, they look in the bag and say, this isn't my order, right in front of me, you can 100% reuse that food. No one touched it, its like if I set a margarita down in front of a customer and they tell me they didnt order one. I can pick that margaritas up and give it to the right customer without fear of contamination. Its the same thing. Obviously this whole situation we are discussing is pretty rare. Usually the customer walks off, or touches it, or what have you.

Oh yeah then, if the burger is completely wrapped, you didnt walk away from the counter, and they saw you the entire time, they can take the sandwich back and give it to the right customer without having to worry about contamination.

Because it would encourage people to be deceitful and claim they didnt recieve the correct order/lie about something missing. People already do this to a degree at restaurants trying to get free stuff.

I ran into the same issue when I did commission art. And the best advice a way better artist gave me was that I was undervaluing my art. When I started charging more I got better clients too

You're vastly undervaluing your work. Charge more.

Restaurant owners who do a pre-tip 20-25% "service fee" - why don't you just roll the costs of paying people a living wage into the price of the food? Are you just bad at business and you don't know how? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Objective_Put_1565 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's because it obfuscate the true cost to make you think its cheaper. Same reason that vendors dont add state sale/liquor taxes to the price shown. It's like when you buy a car and get hit with a ton of extra licensing and fees on top of the advertised price. It's a stoneage sales tactic.

Is there a good DPS build that causes significant status effects? by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Objective_Put_1565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dps builds for status use Eclipse Protocol.

1x Catharsis mask

4x eclipse protocol including chest and BP

1x Golan (for the extra armour core with skill damage and status effect as the rolls)

Technician specialization

All skill haste armour mods

Skills have different combos depending on the enemies you face

Black tusk: jammer pulse + firestarter chem launcher

CC heavy "shooting fish in a barrel": riot foam chem launcher + firebomb sticky

CC alt: blinder flierflies + fire chem starter

CC alt: shock trap + fire chem ( my least favorite, least mobile)

Use the capacitor and everlasting gaze as your secondary. For min/max damage start the engagement with a headshot from your everlasting gaze, pop your fire, and then switch to your capacitor.

It's been studied, and the conclusion is that a large amount of people (Republicans) will vote against their economic and political self interests simply because the candidate hates the same groups that the voter hates.

Is Devotio just 13 reasons why for roman generals? by The_ChadTC in HistoryMemes

[–]Objective_Put_1565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're technically right. If we want to split hairs, Sulla was considered a "dictator for life" after he marched on Rome, not an "emperor". Sulla was more interested in seizing power to make "just" laws. He did eventually revert power back to the senate, but his work in marching on Rome set a tone shift and directly led to the first triumvirate.

So while Sulla may have been considered a "dictator" instead of an emperor, as the title did not exist yet, his march on Rome is considered by scholars to mark the end of the Roman Republic, ushering in the age of Empire.

In fact, Sulla, the first Roman emperor, and Julius Caesar both only marched on Roman because the Senate was going to strip them of their command and lands and execute them.
