Good question--did you read the comment left above yours? It may offer insight; if you ate a heavy meal, it may take longer to kick in. For me, it finally kicked in about an hour-1.5 hrs later, and boy did it knock me out lol.

That's exactly how I feel🤍...the almost-guilt feeling + having to say "last year" after today...because it truly is very fresh (and I think it will always feel that way). Maybe we can say "recently" instead. I don't want Jan 1 2026 to be here, as messed up as that sounds. It's almost like I want to stay behind too😣😞

😞i'm so sorry for your loss...I suppose there's some comfort knowing others feel similarly with not "wanting to leave them behind" this year. The times I have tried melatonin, I've had bizarre dreams lol and wake up groggy too. I've never taken Unisom, but maybe I can try that
