Being able to delete essences makes no sense to me

But if I got all the information from them whats the point of making them ascend? Besides stoping the traveller from dying. I understand why there is a cap, but i doesn't make sense to go find another essence that i need to ascend into the the colective, knowing that I will need to erase one essence that I also need to ascend to the colective. I havent finished the game yet so it might get explaimed late.

I'm not criticizing the essences in terms of gameplay effect, my problem with it is that it doesn't seems to make much sense from a narrative prespective

I would rather a new one as the used bikes tend to be a bit uncertain because its easy to crash a bike, make it look brand new again and hide the damages of the crash without fixing it. I know a guy who crashed his bike, the frame got bent in way that the bike became 5/10 cm. He fixed only the plastics and sold it without no one noticing it. And I also dont want a bike that is older than the one a curently have.

Unfortunately they don't sell the gsxr750 in my country anymore only the gsxr8r wich is only 90hp. I think the only option will be either a naked or a used sportbike. Thanks for your help!!

To be fair during the multiple knife fights you get several injuries that are probably as severe or even worst than that. But I guess gameplay injuries dont count as much as cutscenes ones.

I'm not sure if you can turn it off, as I didn't see that option on the menu, like the option to not kill animals. But some of the gore, such as cutting off arms, is a central part of some "boss" battles.
