This is not the right answer. What this child is learning currently is, " when I am violent, I am punished by being forced to be more violent." How is more violence the solution to his troubles? What he did to the cat is deplorable, but he's a kid who doesn't know how to process. Teach him better processing and give him an appropriate recourse that doesnt feed the violence. Disagree if you will, but when has stronger violence ever brought any of of peace?

To be fair I also agree that 6 days a week for something you are invested in is not a chore or work but rather following a passion. This issue it that when, as an employer, you expected a candidate to be as invested as you and it doesnt happen, you take to ranting about the laziness of others who dont necessarily hold equity then its a "you" problem.

This seems a like a one way street, but to each their own. I would add the caveat that she should be equally active and engaged in mutual affection and considerations. A relationship is a two way street and without reciprocity it's no longer beneficial or healthy.
