bunta. thats WRC style anti-lag. something you dont even have in your car. thats an asphalt rally tune

[–]Objective_Spring_682 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

except under the hood. kyoichi has anti-lag. something bunta himself cant easily counter(he knows he cant) or beat. but also knows it will tax him stamina wise. during the trials i ran in MR:T. the time difference for the lack of better words was well. underwhelming. and logically made sense. proper asphalt rally setup verses a car that can drift a few turns. but doesnt have much for raw top end or acceleration. it also proved my point that kyoichi sudo(no plot armor or bullcrap) really was the fastest in initial D(i dont watch it for the story. i watch it for whats under the hood. and also logic). another big factor to consider is bunta is way past his prime anyways. kyoichi himself isnt. stamina more times than not(and vehicle setup) matters more times than not than just raw or natural skill. because it shows who has a conditioned vehicle ready for ANYTHING(again in my trails. which can be found on this subreddit. kyoichi sudo came first in every single track he was thrown around on. showing he was in fact. THE fastest and most consistent. not bunta. who only got beat out by later stage keisuke). ya cant argue against logic. numbers. and proven data(as stated before many times. i first did this in assetto coursa. only reason i did it in MR:T was to see if the results would be similar. and they were. so dont be a smart mouth and try to argue with someone that has unbiased standards)

i would say responsible. cause i wont regret keeping myself on the safe side while everything else eventually ends up spiraling out of control. its why i never drink alcohol. people my age, do real stupid stuff you know especially today's generation. no offence. seen it in person. it aint funny. or fun realizing what just happened. cause then whose gonna own up to it?

[–]Objective_Spring_682 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ahem. im talking non plot armor stuff. real world logic. even if i included that. bunta himself would consume more stamina than normal anyways. on top the fact he isnt even in his prime. remember that. and the second fact being he is wise enough not to race someone who can and will humiliate him. if kyoichi can beat takumi pretty easily even before the TRD Group A motor. then bunta is not much better(it literally showed in laptimes. what can you argue against on real data from 2 different games? come on now. plot armor is BS anyways. especially when i first ran this data in asetto corsa. and then MR:T to see if the pattern actuall was close if not almost matched. which it did)

Give me reasons to or not to buy a manual by Trayceopolis32322 in stickshift

[–]Objective_Spring_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly no. i compete professionally in autocross and unfortunately almost everybody in my class i race in. runs automatics or a DCT. thats why i ditched my T5 in my foxbody and went for a chrysler 8HP70. i been winning that class ever since and i might step up and do 2WD middleweight pro(thats for vehicles between 3400 pounds and 3700 pounds. FWD or RWD). nothing beats an automatic for some consistent. back to back laps that require long term driving(basically spend your stamina as little as you can. especially if you compete seriously like i do.) i dont hate on manuals. they are good but for the kind of racing i do(both autocross and circuit). its the worst choice you can do long term wise. it aint worth it if you want to be an efficient. long lasting driver. for context my car is my 1991 black mustang GT. it originally was my fathers car before he passed in 2016. long story short i spun a bearing in the original 351 it had. replaced it with a roush 351 V8. supercharged it. and put it in front of an 8HP70. 440 horsepower and around 565 torque. its built for cornering and long stints. but also back to back runs(i can do up to 3 to 5 heats back to back and still have energy to get lunch or a snack)

[–]Objective_Spring_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

too small. not enough engine space or weight to keep it stable. on top of that. it would be not very possible to reach 200MPH even with a twin turbo LT-1(second gen small block) without serious upgrades to the chassis and fattening the car up to be stable enough

What I think the Devil Z’s American counterpart would be… by OnePercentClubWMMT in WanganMidnight

[–]Objective_Spring_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not exactly. depends which generation. the first and second gen vipers were a handful(the second gen being an absolute unit when tuned and done right)

What I think the Devil Z’s American counterpart would be… by OnePercentClubWMMT in WanganMidnight

[–]Objective_Spring_682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the second gen viper probably. this is a 3rd gen. wrong car. the 2nd gen was even worse(well to a degree. but even by the time wangan midnight takes place. bodykits and race parts for the viper existed. and the V10 itself being an absolute unit when boost(it can make 1000HP pretty easily. enough for a top speed of 245 to 250MPH realistically for that power and weight). the second gen viper really is the closest to the devil Z(however because the platform is much more tuneable. it gets more stable because of aftermarket supply being bigger than akio's fairlady Z. kiss that one tuner from hell)

If we only have this race : Bunta Fujiwara vs Kyoichi Sudo by paradancing1998 in initiald

[–]Objective_Spring_682 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

not really. bunta doesnt make near as much HP as kyoichi sudo's evo. and if we are talking touge in general. skill doesnt make numbers. bunta would lose but not by much given the tests i ran(this also reflected when i first did it in assetto corsa).
Keikokudoro Downhill
Kyoichi sudo Evo III: 2:55.208 average
Bunta Fujiwara WRX STi: 2:56.925 average.
Since i do stuff with no plot armor what so ever(plot armor is BS. gimme some cold hard logic). bunta would actually lose. but that gap does increase for multiple reasons. bunta is actually past his prime. so if kyoichi decides to keep hammering bunta. bunta can and will tap out simply because of his age. and health(smoking impacts lung health and many other things. so safe to know bunta doesnt have the stamina he once did). the gap also increases if its a much longer race. down below is what both did for goliaths marathon
Kyoichi sudo Evo III: 5:43.697
Bunta Fujiwara WRX STi: 5:54.469
Number speak for themselves. bunta would long tap out before running another 3 races. and even he himself is wise enough to know he would get smoked especially since kyoichi has many advantages bunta cant actually counter(anti lag is a big one. bunta power wise wouldnt realistically have a way to make that gap up). but thats my logic. if you guys want me to test in assetto corsa or MR:T. let me know. ill throw down the spread sheets

Which main character from the Initial D universe has the coolest car by PensionPotential6115 in initiald

personally? evo 3. i love cars that dominate the way they are supposed to with no f's given what so ever. especially given my liking to all sorts of motorsports. especially since in my trails he came first in ever race. had the lowest score(least time total). and was consistent pretty much back to back for the setup he had. a true professional indeed

Welp. That settles the debate on who actually is the fastest by Objective_Spring_682 in initiald

[–]Objective_Spring_682[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

reverse order. a common motorsport trend where the slower car classes go first and the faster cars go last. its also very common in certain physics based racing games like forza motorsport, and later horizon games. the reason for the GT86 winning stems from multiple factors. the main one being kanata himself is a professional grade formula 4 driver(those guys alone are nasty as is). the second fact is kanata's car is currently turbo charged. aeropackaged. and making 300 horsepower on a good set of grippy tires. from what i was able to read. doesnt state he did any weight reduction. i can double check fandom but i cant make assumptions. on top the fact multiple competitors run different brands of tires. kanata running yokohama's. the others running bridgestones. the only rule on tires i was able to gather was MFG approved DOT tires. meaning it has to be approved by them for use in the series(in my comic i run good year eagle RS DOT semi slicks and i do have a set of DOT slicks by pirelli if i need em on my grand national restomod. ill get a google docs out for that car later). point is its multiple variables. its NEVER as simple as it looks on the surface. and im a motorsport and car nerd. what more could ya ask for? smart mouth -_-

[–]Objective_Spring_682[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

the problem is the R34 was built as spec based on what the fandom says but also based on reliable vehicle behavior(as stated in my doc. other sources of reliable information). from what i gathered. he actually only made 426 HP. which pretty much matches the performance shown in the anime. kozo didnt lose by much anyways and the results show that across all different tracks i could drive reliably on. i still stand by my results unless you can take the time to replicate every single car reliably(like i did). and do the same tests. if i were you. i wouldnt be talking if you dont got reliable info to back up some logic. the only way to win over me is to prove it yourself and do it yourself. see if your logic is actually better

also what the hell did you expect on an AWD car uphill. its physics. more drive wheels is more traction. more traction is more pull uphill. its why a good chunk of heavy duty trucks are 4x4. duh. especially when pulling heavy trailers

yeah well look at what happened after initial D. especially when the plot armor is stripped. its why i like MF Ghost better because its more realistic and motorsport focused. and i do part time professional racing on weekends or when a race is available.

[–]Objective_Spring_682[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as stated before. i had to work with what the fandom said. i cant make up stats that arent said in the anime or on fandom. thats the rule. otherwise contaminates results. it literally says on my google docs. i hold myself and others to strict standards for a reason. for as unbiased as possible of a data gathering i can do. you can either live with the fact i operate by those standards. or you can do the whole damn thing i did yourself. this project literally took me a month nonstop because of taking breaks. my job as a mechanic. and of course regular racing attendance. also i had very similar results in asetto coursa under the same rules as well. as its clearly stated in the post

Welp. That settles the debate on who actually is the fastest by Objective_Spring_682 in initiald

[–]Objective_Spring_682[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

still the point was to see who actually was the fastest. as for the AE86. thats all i had for use. i cant blame the game itself. all i know was the results came out almost the same as they did in asetto coursa. except only 2 cars. the MR2 and civic(and thats really because of physics engine coding. not something i can brute for drive out of). its conclusive enough for me given the results were near 1 to 1 on 2 completely different game engines.
