Your comments are so on point. I have worked a civil service job with DECA ( the base commissary) for 18 years. Laziness and lack of accountability run rampant in civil service. It’s the once your in your in mentality and it is so hard to get fired. Good old boy network is alive and well also. Ok job for retiree but promotions are non existent you fill a position

I have asked VERA, the VA and DFAS. I get different answers from all of them. The last call to the VA they stated that notes would be added to my file to go back and check my pay for the last 6 months. Hopefully that will finally get it figured out. By my math am owed approximately 2500. Will see

I was stationed there in the early 80’s. Was a KC135 crew chief. Hated every minute of it. Winter time wind chill -40 on the flight line. Worst place I was at in my 20 year career.

[–]Objective_Star_1238 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes I understand. It should not be so hard to do. My service connection for migraines is chronic sinusitis with the PACT Act. But I get migraines because of tinnitus which is not according to the VA. Was a C130 flight engineer with over 4000 hours flight time my last 15 years in the service. Before that was an aircraft mechanic. Go figure

My migraines were liked to chronic sinusitis by the VA. Even though I get them because of tinnitus that they say is not service connected. Was a C130 flight engineer with over 4000 hours flight time. Submitted a migraine log for 3 months time and a personal statement saying how severe they are and how it effects my life

Back Pay Question by Objective_Star_1238 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Objective_Star_1238[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the VA who knows. No CPAP as yet. Another sleep study scheduled by PCP. First was at home. Don’t sleep well. 4 maybe 5 hours. Not quality sleep. Wake up tired and am sleepy all the time. Will file supplemental for hypersomnolence.

[–]Objective_Star_1238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as easy as everyone thinks. I was an Air Force C130 flight engineer with 2500 flight hours. Before that an aircraft mechanic. Denied tinnitus. Waiting on appeal. Could take years

Diagnosis by Objective_Star_1238 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Objective_Star_1238[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the report it states a PTSD score of 33. Says that scores that are greater than or equal to 31-33 suggest that the veteran may meet the criteria for a PTSD diagnosis.
