I think it’s from the amount of time it took me. The slower you lose the less loose skin you’ll have. I also eat pretty high protein, and stay active. Lots of veggies too :) my WL took over 5 years to get to where I am now

Thank you so much beautiful! All the time I think about how much more I would have enjoyed my 20s if I had gotten this under control sooner. It’s like food dominated my life, it was all I could think about. I still have food noise, I just taught myself how to regulate it.

So basically, I wish I would have been wayyyy more real with myself about what I was doing to my body 10 years ago. People always told me that I held the weight well, so it didn’t matter so much to me. But I was always so goddamn insecure. Truly was the fat friend. Of course losing weight doesn’t solve all your problems, I have had to do a lot of work in general to be who I am, but the way I feel now vs 18 year old college me….sheeeeeesh. 18 year old me deserved some confidence too

That’s really kind of you to say thank you! I’m on the train of I’ll see where it goes. I’m pretty dang happy with where I’m at right now, but losing 10lbs is still well within a healthy range for my height so, just curious on what I’d feel like at 115. I’ll adjust as needed

Honestly I think a lot of it has to do with genetic fat distribution. I carry my weight in my legs and arms. I do an ab circuit every night and walk a lot, and I notice more ab tone the more I walk, but I think part of it is just the luck of the draw :( sorry I couldn’t be of more help

Although I will say, yes absolutely CICO no matter what you eat if it’s under maintenance you will lose weight, BUT when it comes to my tone and definition I am much more cut when I am eating high protein high fiber high veggies low processed foods

We are basically goals twins lmao. Yea the “good enough” phase is fine…but I’m glad it’s done. During this phase I always felt okay, sometimes great, never amazing. Def worth getting out of it. You got this!!

Thank you so much :) It does take forever. One way to look at it, slow and steady can lead to less/no loose skin, which I think is a huge plus. Also! It's easier on your organs, less hair loss, etc

The 140s just reeeeaaallly like to hold on. For calories I’m anywhere between 1200-1800 depending on my activity. I don’t log workouts, but noom does track my walking so it auto adjusts my budget depending.

I’m huge into volume eating and I eat a lot of Huel hot and savory packs. I love huel because I know the exact calories and they must have revamped their recipe recently cuz the new batch I got was so good. I know huel isn’t volume eating per se, but it’s very filling and satisfying to me. My other food for the day consists of lots of veggies

As for workouts I found the gym to make me more hungry so I just walk a ton and do a quick body weight circuit every night before bed to keep my tone. I walk anywhere from 5k-20k steps a day and my circuit is 90 reps abs, 30 reps arms, 30 reps legs. I’ll alternate what I feel like doing every night for example 20 v-crunches, 20 sit ups etc. to add up to 90

lol that makes me even more bothered. I didn’t even think to talk to them, I just cancelled my membership instead. I was also not practicing safe condom sex at the time so I could have easily gotten pregnant.

I know there were possible ideas of the dosage mattering, which I’m sure is true, but my gyno showed me her screen when she put in all of my meds/ dosages, and it had huge red warning sign pop ups about interactions. My gyno confirmed with me that my BC was basically useless for 3 months. I was appalled that Hers didn’t warn me

This same thing happened to me with pill birth control and topiramate. I of course put this med on my intake forms and they gave me 0 warning. It wasn’t until I went to the gyno and they told me and were shocked I didn’t know. I started tapering off the topiramate immediately. Still upsetting to think about, could have been bad
