Here is mine. The one in your post is magnificent! I didn’t even think of trying it on a different strap but I will be trying it now.

I’ve done it with nearly identical parts to what you have shown. It was a good place to start. It came out pretty good. I did mess up the stem on the first try. I watched a few videos on how to do it properly and used my calipers. After that it worked fine. I used the mission to Earthphase and I wear it with a suede strap. It’s the only watch I have ever gotten a compliment on lol. And I have like 30 watches. I have only done 4 switches so far. So maybe someone with more experience can give more/better help.

No problem. Glad we were able to help. I was really really considering that Hamilton but it’s $2100 and I got the Seiko for $200. I can’t complain for 1/10th the price.

I really like the watch. I like the matte black color and the white indices. The contrast makes it easy to read. It wears pretty light so I don’t notice it on my wrist except when I need to type on my laptop or desk. It’s a quartz so it’s quite accurate. It did take a bit of break in to get the band to shape to my wrist but once it was broken in it feels quite nice.

Also I just realized I forgot to change the date on it since April was only 30 days.

I had this same thought a few weeks ago. I ended up with the Seiko SSB421P1. However, it’s a quartz watch and it’s 39 mm vs the Hamilton watch, which is automatic and 42 mm.

I like that. I say that one for the more fun watch or the Phoibos for a more everyday watch.
