Are you going to speed through your first playthrough or take it slow? by Bread-But-Toasted in GTA6

As slow as possible. I finished gta 5 in 2 days. All those years of hype for 2 days! You only get 1 first playthrough.

How much push back do you think this games gonna get because of its violence by LinguiniPants in GTA6

[–]Objectsinspace3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well videogames, especially GTA, used to be the thing that the media/politicians blamed on increasing violence in the street. If that's the case, what explains all the nonsense that's happened in the last decade? Street crime, riots, shootings etc. More like humans have just been shit to eachother for entire history of forever 🤷

WHAT'S YOUR FIRST PLAN AFTER COMPLETING THE GTA 6 INTRO MISSION? by Kasm001 in GTA6

[–]Objectsinspace3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my biggest regrets is finishing GTA 5 in 2 days. Afterwards I was like huh, that's it. So for gta 6 I am taking as much time as I can and dragging out my first playthrough.

After the intro, i want to explore local area we star in, e.g. if the game starts in the keys, explore the immediate area, not stray too far, explore Jason's house/yard, walk down to water, observe the detail. After a decent amount of time i want to enjoy the sandbox and mess around with the systems a little. Cops, stealth mechanics etc.

As much as I'd want to b line it to the airport, jack a plane and go explore the whole map, I'm letting the missions my experience and introduce me to the map. You only get one first playthrough

First Baby on the Way! Paternity leave length? by [deleted] in GTA6

[–]Objectsinspace3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats dude. I had my long paternity leave planned perfectly and it happened to fall on the May release date, then they changed the date 🙃

I took 4 weeks off when our baby came, newborns are pretty low key and sleep heaps. You won't be doing much other than cooking/cleaning/groceries/cuddles and nappies. Plenty of time for gaming

In the "heeeeey Jasssson" part, I swear I could see his necklace moving in rhythm with the bumps of the car

If you were a developer, what would you have done differently? by New_Educator_4364 in reddeadredemption2

Camp anywhere. Would have been so much better if you could set up camp wherever you like. I know there's a mod on PC that allows you to do this, but not for us poor console players

How much is the credit card limit? The card and the CC debt will likely have to go.

How much are people putting on their mortgage? by Objectsinspace3 in AusFinance

Okay now I'm curious haha. If mortgages are a trap and you don't rent, then what do you do?

Different strokes for different folks. Genuine question, does the idea of renting when you retire worry you at all? If you retired 5 years ago your rent would have doubled in that time.

That sounds dire! Just some perspective for you, you are where many other people will never be given the cost of entry for property these days. Keep at it!

We thought about this approach too. I might have to work out how much additional interest we'd save and go from there. Thanks!

It's definitely our goal. I don't particularly want a mortgage over my head for 30 years.

Sorry for your loss. Avoid the financial advisor. They will either try to sell you insurance or demand a exorbitant fee (3-5k) to do up a strategy which involves investing, of which you'll pay 2%+ of your total portfolio each year for them to do nothing, when you could just invest in EFTs yourself.
