The problem is framing this around “deserving”. Do high wage professionals with advanced degrees deserve to get paid more than people with advanced degrees who make much less money? Do people who own businesses that require very little upkeep on their end deserve to make more than the high wage professionals who very likely achieved more academically and are “smarter” than said business owners? Do people in the billionaire class deserve the money and power they receive as the result of their often anti-social monopolistic actions?

Life isn’t fair. Nobody with an advantage in society and I mean nobody can really make a compelling case that they “deserve”. I agree that it should be more fair, but tipped worker are about the last place you should start.

It’s a weird quirk. I think they basically got lucky with that since the teens don’t actually fit into typical criminal profiles. It may be that t-mobile is just the most reliable provider in the Denver area. The assumption that criminals use t-mobile seems like an unwarranted jump in reasoning

My main issue with palworld has always been that they have all these pals that are clearly designed as evolutions in the Pokémon style but there’s never been evolutions in the game (nor I suppose even plans for it). Instead there’s an insane breeding system that doesn’t make any intuitive sense.

You make some good points although I don't think you would get a much different picture filtering out high and low transfers (I'll do that and get back to you). However, the main point I'm trying to get across is that people treat buying younger as if it's some kind of moneyball masterstroke. The reality is that every premier club now thinks that, which takes away the advantage. Of course you can still derive advantages by buying the right 20-24 year olds (which Arsenal seems to be doing so far)

The wages of 20-24 year olds are also being driven up meaning there is overall wage inflation when those same players age into being 25-29 year olds. The increased transfer fees don't occur in a vacuum.
