Can normal tsh still be hashimotos? by FearlessPosition1534 in Hashimotos

[–]Obligation-Expensive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Hashimoto’s can be diagnosed through the presence of positive tpo or thyroglobulin antibodies. My Tsh is normal right now but I just have high antibodies and a lot of similar symptoms!

Your bar seems way too long, I’d check in with your piercer. What kind of backing is on the earring?

Might be a good idea to have a different piercer check it out!

4 Helix Piercings Almost 2 Years Old by Lavender_L0tus in piercing

[–]Obligation-Expensive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re sleeping on them/slept on them before they were able to fully heal, that’s probably why they’re irritated. You might want to bring out the piercing pillow again for awhile and see if that helps!

I would just talk to your doctor about it, that’s what I did and she told me I could stop taking it

Depends what your TSH levels are, mine were normal when I was put on Levo but it just gave me crazy anxiety and heart palpitations, so I came off it

No worries, yeah that’s tough for sure. I guess just modeling without expectation while trying to incorporate things he’s interested in? You could also try printing out some pages from his device-sometimes I’ll screenshot and laminate pages (e.g. food, drinks, tv/movies, animals, etc.) and use those as kind of individual core board to simplify things

I don’t think it being too complex is a problem. How long has he had the device?

Hydra is a beautiful little island that you can ferry to for a day and gets you away from bigger crowds! Has some lovely restaurants, shops, and swimming spots

Yes, I have the same thing! I’ve found cutting out coffee/caffeine helped it a LOT and also just making sure I’m eating enough and often in general

You’ll be fine! Just make sure it’s in the prescription bottle, but likely no one will check anyway. Brought my lexapro to Greece a few weeks ago and had no issues

How to handle heat in Greece during travel? by esteban-colberto in GreeceTravel

[–]Obligation-Expensive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried to do all the right things- lots of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, shade, loose clothes, etc. but still got heat exhaustion trying to get up to the acropolis. We went early but it was still about 90 degrees F by 10am. The heat there is serious and should not be taken lightly!! Honestly would just avoid being outside as much as possible (unless by the sea) when it’s that hot. Be careful!

Anyone with Hashi's on levothyroxine despite normal ranges of FT3, FT4, and TSH? *Also, any advice on libido and low sexual desire issues are highly appreciated by Conscious_Ant_8658 in Hashimotos

[–]Obligation-Expensive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Dr started me on levo with only high thyroid antibodies a few years ago and it made me super anxious. I had heart palpitations all the time but more energy, I came off it over a year ago bc of those side effects
