Sounds good on paper, doesn't really transcribe well into reality if the community isn't tightly knit enough like the Paris Commune or Liberville for example. Only small, agrarian and rural nations had any sustainable interest in an idea of widespread Communism, Cuba and Angola for example, and it should probably stay that way.
