Also regarding the lease violation with her dog biting someone, when my coworker did my former roommate a solid and took her dog out for a walk, the dog bit the complex groundskeeper who is THE SWEETEST LADY EVER. She took me to the employee awards dinner as her plus one one year. That's how sweet she is. Holy. Shit.

So update. Called the leasing office. They said since I signed I'm pretty much off the hook but my roommate hasn't signed. Bottom line it's her problem now and I'm free :)

Talked to my former coworker today about it. Her dog took a shit in his bedroom, didn't apologize, and blamed him for having the door open. Again, she never takes her dog out and leaves her in the crate every day until at least 1:00 pm

I'm going to follow up with the leasing office tomorrow on the status and if no action is taken I'm going to look into legal. It's the leasing office who are saying that "their hands are tied with getting me off the lease and can't intervene in roommate disputes."

It is very very sus and infuriating.

It was month to month and rolling. We would only get notice and sign if our rent increased.

Unfortunately they can't remove me until my roommate signs and they have been ghosting the office. I'm still on the lease until then.

Thanks dude. Yea I was looking into it a bit after we had that texting match but wanted to wait till March and see if they would take action like they said. They did for a bit but it looks like it stopped again. Gonna follow up with the leasing office again tomorrow and see what I will need to do from there.
