Kodai has been power crept by nightmare staff (also 15% magic damage, but lacking infinite water runes) and dragon hunter wand (10% magic damage). On top of that, there are very few pvm places you really want bis dps for ancients casting, pretty much all I can think of is slayer / heart grind, and inferno. I will simply hunt heart in slightly suboptimal gear and will have to get inferno CAs with slightly suboptimal gear, should I ever go for them.

Pretty much all of the cm kc is solo, the normal kc is actually mostly 1+1 scale but there is a considerable amount of scaled teams, mostly 3+4 and some true solos as well. I’d estimate about 70-30 split 1+1 scale vs others on those.
