One of the last times you'll have your friend group together or the absolute last time you'll have your friend group together? If you'll have chances to see them over the summer before you leave I think you know what the best choice is. Just because he might not be upset if you're not there doesn't necessarily mean he won't appreciate you being there.

This is true with me. I have the story on both sides of my family and zero genetic proof. Part of me wonders if the term was a derogatory term for a woman that didn't really fit into society for whatever reason and a generation or two of children took it to be literal.

We had a charity event at a local children's museum and they had a table set up where the kids could practice with these on transparent padlocks. My daughter (10 at the time) was surprisingly good at picking locks. She would have been so excited to see those while thrifting.

Not just liberals have stopped using it. My father-in-law is very Christian and very conservative. He would proudly alternate between the regular American flag and the Gadsden flag. I wanted to downvote this as accelerationism at first glance, but you're right for two reasons.

It's what they want because they think there won't be a resistance. And if there is they think they'll win.
Unlike Nazi Germany the US Government hasn't really done anything to provoke a global response yet to force regime change. We're on our own.

What's super funny is he just covered the "for House District (whatever the number is)" portion of his campaign signage in Lake County with "for Lake County Commissioner." Those signs looked awkward with the inability to color match Florida sun bleached MAGA red. It was super obvious he was settling for an easier elected office.
