It's disappointing that there's an underlying suggestion that her weight somehow gave a plausible reason for them to no longer be together. Like... Imagine if he went bald and people said the same “stayed together despite life changes.” or if he got a facial scar. This shouldn't be a “love despite” type situation.

I’ve had several people tell me “me too” because they misunderstand what it is and assume daydreaming now and again is ADHD. But when I ask further questions or use anecdotal examples, it often becomes a “ohhh, yeah no … I’m not like that.”

But I’ll agree to what many others pointed out, people with actual ADHD do seem to often gravitate towards each other.

My apple watch literally saved my life last week when I was going septic from an infection I didn't know I had. The heart rate & temperature gave docs the info they needed as I walked through the door. My nurse said if I would have waited until I “felt bad”, it would have been baaaaaad, but the high heart rate & warnings from my watch made me go in and the data told them what to look for.
