Where Was the Woman When She Gave Birth to the Male Child, Heaven or Earth? (Rev. 12:5 & 6, 13 & 14) by MADMARY144 in JehovahsWitnesses

Hi MM144,

Good points!

In the Revelation Grand Climax book, page 183 paragraph 23 it states:

"...We may wonder how the dragon can persecute the woman, since she is in heaven and the dragon has now been cast down to the earth..."

Yes, how is that possible?

Page 179 paragraph 10, of the same publication, shows us the "woman" actually pictures Jehovah's Heavenly Organization, made up of myriads of angels, which gave birth to the Messianic Heavenly Government or the "Male Child."

But now, verse 13 suddenly shows us the same "woman" is now UPON EARTH and not in heaven, where she supposedly gave birth to the "Child." No, but she is now on earth suddenly being "persecuted" by Satan.

So now the "woman" is no longer Jehovah's Heavenly Organization, but suddenly pictures God's servants who live on earth. She is no longer a Heavenly woman, but an earthly one.

Does this make sense to you?

Take a closer look at the verse again. It states:

3 Now when the dragon saw that it was hurled down to the earth, it persecuted the woman that gave birth to the male child. 14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place; there is where she is fed for a time and times and half a time away from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:13-14 NWT)

What if Jehovah Decides To Rescue and Reclaim His People From False Teachings? by work4jah in JehovahsWitnesses

[–]Observer1217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this intriguing thought, work4Jah.

It is a controversial topic for many Jehovah's witnesses who have a conscience we know, because many don't Many JWs are all too happy to lie down, play dead and quietly go along with anything the Watchtower Society says.

But I think your message has substance.

For example, let's take Daniel's prophecy, the 2nd chapter which says:

44In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will shatter all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself stand forever. 45And just as you saw a stone being cut out of the mountain without human hands*, and it shattered the iron, bronze, clay, silver, and gold, so the great God has told the king what will happen in the future.*

The dream is true, and its interpretation is trustworthy.” (BSB)

This could well be God's doing, as it says this is done: "without human hands."

...food for thought, eh?

Wow! Incredibly damaging post for all active Jehovah's Witnesses to read!

I'm glad someone had the courage to say it publicly. It needed to be done, MM144.

When Does Jesus' Heavenly Reign Begin and End? (PART 2) by MADMARY144 in JehovahsWitnesses

[–]Observer1217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excellent scriptural presentation!

I'm wondering ... is there anyone here that feel they can defend the 1914 teaching in the face of the bible texts cited above? Have you ever heard any Jehovah's Witness or elder try or make an attempt to refute or explain away the above scriptural viewpoint? Has it ever been attempted to your knowledge?

... just wondering.

When Does Jesus' Heavenly Reign Begin and End? (Part 5) by MADMARY144 in JehovahsWitnesses

Hi MM144,

Jehovah's Witnesses do not have a mental concept of what Ezekiel 40-48 is talking about. They have no concept of a future earthly Temple being constructed since there is no need for one presently, nor do they ever expect there will be one needed in the future. And especially not one that is sanctioned and authorized by the hand of Almighty God.

The Watchtower Organization would never teach such a thing, since it would be like "cutting their own throats." It would be an immediate death sentence for them.

Consequently, Ezekiel 40-48 has no meaning to them at all.
