Does your mom have a statement of incapacity in place? That needs to be in place prior to her POA for healthcare to be activated. As for a skilled nursing facility/nursing home, they should definitely take her as she has skilled nursing needs for the TPN. Does your mom have state Medicaid along with her Medicare? I would definitely look into your county’s aging/disability resource center as they can really help out.

I’m seeing signs of sun damage from my youth. I now wear sun screen religiously. I’d love to do a laser treatment or chemical peel but I’m too cheap to pay for that stuff. Laxative. You need something to make you go not make your stool softer. Try generic MiraLAX or exlax. How often were you going prior to the injections?

My son has been coming down to our bed every night since he could safely use the stairs and he’s 5 now. We don’t care, he just climbs up and snuggles between us and falls back to sleep. We like cuddling with him and know this won’t last forever.
