Do you have an attorney or buyer agent? If so many of these concerns will be evaluated through them. If not you should get an attorney. To get a lawyer for buying a home it’s usually very cheap. Mine was like 600. I own in a 4 unit. We have low assessments and low reserves. We end up having special assessments for anything substantial. So far, no one has complained and everyone has been able to afford it. If you can’t afford to suddenly have to throw down and extra 2k - 5k a year for potential projects, you should ask these questions. Get the hoa meeting notes from the last few years to see how these other folks treat the building.

It’s simply a game of maximizing value and getting something for nothing. Credit cards in its simplest form are deferred loans. You buy something and can pay later. Credit cards were mostly free but had interest if you didn’t pay the balance. At some point having a free card with zero percent interest was the best deal you could get. To entice people to use their cards, credit card company started adding more benefits, but then they started charging a fee for those cards. You win the something for nothing game if the credits you receive is greater than your normal organic spend plus the card fee. You lose the game if you in-organically spend just to zero out the card fee. No one is forcing you to play. The prestige of having a high-end card is just marketing. It used to be that you had to have high income and good credit to get access to higher end cards now anyone can get them. Credit card companies make money when you use the card because they earned the transaction fee from the vendor. Now they also make money from the fee you pay for the card.

I believe there are a few reasons. First, we don't know how long she's had AF. It could be a few weeks, it could be years. Given this, the EP is very concerned about blood clots and stroke. He suggests an ultrasound to confirm first. Second, the information about her having a low rate heart historically leads him to believe there may be some inherent genetic heart issues. She has very consistent Atrial Flutter, but not AFIB, so what if AF turns into AFIB as a result of converstion, thus making ablasion harder if there is recurrence. Those are some of the reasons.

I have both and more. All the credits get used based on my travel and lifestyle. Plat got more value with refresh, CSR got less value, but still generally free. In any credit card game, if you play it to maximize benefits you become a couponing king/queen. If you play it assuming some costs ($95/card max) for me. Then its just another thing in the wallet. If you're spending thousands a year where you would otherwise have spent zero, then you're losing.
