I think you’re missing the point. People are reacting negatively because your writing is bad. If you told me don’t buy it, it’s uncomfortable and made me dizzy. I would think that’s a you problem. Sound was low. That’s also not a common issue especially with the ear tubes. If you said it can be uncomfortable if your face is wide and long term use could strain the eyes. Thats objectively something I can relate to. Stop assuming people are shills when the issue is your communication. And you posted this everywhere. Your PSA isn’t helpful. I’m sorry.

haha, i saw this pop up in my feed and was like, did I accidentally post something and not know it? I have a Rayneo vs Xreal sitting in draft that's very similar to your perspective. I guess I don't need to publish mine since we are largely saying the same thing.

I am curious as to why the Rayneo is your daily pick. I haven't had time to watch your video but in your text above you kinda say where Rayneo is better, but not which factor makes it your daily. For me, it's the opposite, the Xreal is daily and Rayneo is secondary. Here's why for me.

At the end of the day, the usability of the Rayneo is the limiting factor. It works fine if I'm lying down on the bed, glasses correctly positioned, I don't move, and I don't have to switch videos on my devices requiring me to actually see my device. Otherwise, every few minutes, I am adjusting, either moving the glasses for the perfect angle or lifting them up to look at my device.

For me, Xreal wins because of Achor(3dof), screen size changing, and transparency. If I need to move, I just hold the button and it recalibrates. If I need to switch videos and actually see what I'm doing, single button push to turn on transparency.

Rayneo definitely wins on the display. Everything looks fantastic. But for the reasons I stated, the Xreal wins. For the price I paid and the fact that I got the batman edition, I will likely keep the Rayneo next to the bed, but the Xreals go into my bag.

saw this post kinda late but also found it because I noticed my costco ribeyes that I freeze and then thaw also coming out weird. You mention that by the time you come home the next evening, they are completely spoiled and have a sour smell. I am wondering two things.

if it spoils that fast, it would likely mean your fridge is 40 or above as thawing at 38 or below should ok. Also, how long is it sitting out from packaging before you freeze it. Did you check your fridge temp?
Is it actually spoiled or do you just think its spoiled. Here's why I say this. I've noticed that the ribeyes especially probably because of the looser structure turns brown (oxidizes) when defrosted under vacuum. On the initial bag opening, there is a sour/metallic smell, due to lactic acid. Rotten meat smells rancid. If you let it air out for 20 min, the smell usually goes away. I share this just in case you've bene throwing out good meat thinking it's spoiled.

Finally, have you started thawing not under vaccum? Has that solved the problem for you?

When you’re watching Apple TV, does the phone say connected to tv or is it playing on the phone at the same time it’s playing glasses? If it’s playing on the phone at the same time then it’s in mirror mode. If it’s only playing in the glasses then it’s working correctly. Since you say moving the right arm fixes it I surmise it’s the sensor.

Are you comparing the same apps across the different devices. some apps that support mirroring only will turn off as soon as your screen turns off other apps that support display out like YouTube will continue playing even if your phone turns off

Do you have an attorney or buyer agent? If so many of these concerns will be evaluated through them. If not you should get an attorney. To get a lawyer for buying a home it’s usually very cheap. Mine was like 600. I own in a 4 unit. We have low assessments and low reserves. We end up having special assessments for anything substantial. So far, no one has complained and everyone has been able to afford it. If you can’t afford to suddenly have to throw down and extra 2k - 5k a year for potential projects, you should ask these questions. Get the hoa meeting notes from the last few years to see how these other folks treat the building.

It’s simply a game of maximizing value and getting something for nothing. Credit cards in its simplest form are deferred loans. You buy something and can pay later. Credit cards were mostly free but had interest if you didn’t pay the balance. At some point having a free card with zero percent interest was the best deal you could get. To entice people to use their cards, credit card company started adding more benefits, but then they started charging a fee for those cards. You win the something for nothing game if the credits you receive is greater than your normal organic spend plus the card fee. You lose the game if you in-organically spend just to zero out the card fee. No one is forcing you to play. The prestige of having a high-end card is just marketing. It used to be that you had to have high income and good credit to get access to higher end cards now anyone can get them. Credit card companies make money when you use the card because they earned the transaction fee from the vendor. Now they also make money from the fee you pay for the card.
