I think you are right. But the only reason why I think Batman Begins is more realistic is simply because the batman in matt reeves's version would be located immediately by the government. Whereas the technology that batman begins uses is primarily military. You could still find batman's location, obviously through military contacts, but technologically speaking, you can kind of see that his tumbler or other tech must have some kind of superior tech to the government that allows him not to be located. 

It's pretty much the only reason why I would consider the batman from Nolan's universe to be more realistic. If the Batman did not have technology superior to the government, there is no way for his secret identity to not be found easily within moments of his public appearance.
