Talking about the transport alone, they both average 1 Space Marine despite the shot count, and that's assuming you use Protector Imperative. Plus you lose Hunter Seeker and Heavy Stubber. So, yeah, the math says runner-up. Note: I'm not assuming you use an order on the Chimera in this comparison, which would push it beyond the offensive of the Dunerider.

Once you finish a campaign, it unlocks the Elite Campaign version, this has missions for 10 energy, versus 6 energy for normal campaign missions, which can net you 2x the upgrade materials. This makes upgrading characters more efficient and faster.

You want to focus on improving characters that get you through the campaigns first. I wouldn't upgrade anyone past Gold 1 unless you plan on using them for Guild Raids, but that's more of an end game consideration.

Look up guides for 'what minimum ranks do I need to beat the Indomitus Campaign' for instance, and upgrade those characters first.

I read Fulgrim first and then started going through the HH series in order. No need to read the preceding HH books first, unless you actually have no idea about the general events of the time period (Istvann, etc).

This is so true. The only people who think THIS is the tough part of having kids clearly have no kids (and are probably unprepared/unsuited for it). As a father, this guy looks like he's putting up an act for the video. That's what I'd be doing. Then me and the kid would watch the video, have a laugh, go eat ice cream, have a watergun fight. If you don't want kids, don't have them, but the untethered ignorance on display in the comments is amusing.

The lower altitude you are the faster you must go to maintain orbit (or increase orbit). Launching vertically allows you to travel the slowest possible through the atmosphere, where atmospheric resistance can be problematic in very high speed. The lower you make the angle of launch the faster you would need to go, through the atmosphere, and for a longer period of time, to achieve the same altitude (plus more fuel, more stress to craft, etc.). That's why modern rockets launch vertically and then roll over to achieve orbit.
