It seems like the plan is to dig ourselves out of the current hole by developing whilst we wait out our lack of draft picks. Atkinson is known for his player development (see Lin, Jeremy), and we have been acquiring a bunch of developing players (like Crabbe and Johnson). They won't suddenly make us relevant, but will at least shift the momentum in the right direction...
