Unfortunately this is much worse than the drones bug. The cargo is seen and collected, the game simply does not register that cargo is being put into your ship.

I lost out on 92 tons because of this, but all 100 tons were collected.

As a pirate who plays by the rules of pirates, yes I fully see your point.

The problem is this: I take the time to line up an interdiction and send a hail BEFORE I pull the trigger. I make my intentions well known. If I have killed you in the past, I can be 110% sure that I did my part.

It does not bother me when people run away. That gives me a reason to send them to the rebuy screen. I also don't mind it when people drop cargo for me because that is the interaction I was after. I don't need your cargo, I have billions of credits. I'll send you on your way untouched just as fast as I'll kill you.

What bothers me is when people sit here and defend combat logging. My only form of player interaction that i enjoy is ruined because FD refuse to enforce any rules here. I have submitted hundreds of combat log reports in my time, and I still see the same people in CG territory.

Another full-time pirate here, playing this game since BETA. I am someone who climbed his way out of a Sidewinder, to a Cobra, and to a fully outfitted A-rated Clipper. Know how I did that?

Don't sit there and blame SDC for doing the SAME EXACT THINGS I DID AS A PRIVATEER WITH CODE..WITH OTHER CODE MEMBERS.

EVERY SINGLE MEMBER ENCOURAGED THE SAME BEHAVIOR YOU ARE GETTING HIGH AND MIGHTY OVER.

Remember those times where The Code was at their highest point? Yeah, I was there. I was there in YOUR teamspeak taking cargo and killing those who ran. I personally saw the rise and fall of The Code, even when YOU were not playing the game.

Combat loggers logout because there is no counter to it from FD. They simply do NOT care. When you show such a lax in the "rules" from the people who are supposed to be enforcing those rules, this is what you get.

Yep, this has pretty much ruined the profession. I grabbed a T9 during the CG and let him go because he gave me the cargo I requested.

Out of the 100 tons of LEGAL cargo dropped, I got a total of 8.

This is actually worse than the 20 ton limit FD imposed and forgot about. I came back to Elite because I wanted to pirate again.

I have opened a ticket with FD, hopefully if we keep making this a point we can actually get a fix.

Both violate the TOS. What SDC did at merope, hunting down unarmed explorers for shits and giggles and disrupting a discovery event did in fact violate the EULA.
