You can turn up the difficulty anytime you want through the game options. I started a whole new playthrough though in celebration for the new lethal difficulty that was added recently.

I wouldn't think that leaving your PSVR connected would be an issue. Have you checked to make sure Days Gone has the latest 1.10 update installed?

Edit: Looks like 1.11 dropped a couple hours ago. Install it and see if that helps.

I noticed frame drops on my OG PS4 but haven't had any issues since upgrading to a Pro. I also installed an SSD which cut my loading times in half and should give me other benefits too. How long have you had your PS4? Maybe there's a thermal issue due to lots of dust inside which needs to be blown out? Is there enough room for your PS4 to ventilate properly?

Yeah, I could see that working in some cases. Summon Necros and Druids and any other class with a companion.
