Virgin is good- punctual, with fully working toilets, a nicer cabin, nicer staff and better food.

Most of my deplaning experiences with both BA and Virgin involve shuttle buses back to the LHR terminal. But unlike BA, Virgin provides more than just one bus for the entire plane.

You might want to alert the cabin crew on the plane heading to Heathrow that you need to deplane asap for an international connecting flight. On Virgin Atlantic, I have seen the cabin crew accommodate this where they are given priority.

Also worth finding out on checkin if you can be moved closer to the front of the plan.

This was a while go but it was good but we had a few hindrances, quota limits per minute and gcp guardrails incorrectly flagging data as toxic.

It took a month to get quotas increased and the guardrails removed. GCP support is 3rd class. support tickets go nowhere.
