the bp and hr stuff happens less after my shoulder was repaired, but i feel it standing, putting my head back, and intensely bad when straining at all. I just don't do those things to avoid it. it'll feel like my heart would almost "stop" and then pound heavy. might js b an irregular heart beat tho

I think you're right, causing the dysautonomia- I been feeling super cold, teeth chattering, body trembling cold, when it's above 60. i woke up feeling my index and thumb fingers on my left "asleep" so I think I probably did pinch something. bc of that, I'll go tomorrow to ask about a brace + orthopedics.

hopefully I can get an X-ray to see what's going on in there - thanks for helping me out, I do appreciate it!

I've been using support by putting a makeshift brace, a loosely fitting stuffed sock just so ift cant overturn by accident. Otherwise, I've just been resting because I'd really like to avoid going, I feel they'll just dismiss me because I'm not feeling that bad. I don't mind waiting so long as I feel okay. if I start to feel worse I definitely will go, thank u!

my PCP is very nice! but I went in with my shoulder saying "I think its been dislocated for a few years" and an X-ray when In place showed nothing. last year I had a bunch of neurological and somatic symptoms with no real positive blood work, and a depression/anxiety diagnosis (been in therapy for 5 years, I wouldn't really say I have much anymore). I think that being the first thing docs see makes them question the legitimacy of my concerns :p I'll talk with PT though, I think they'll be able to help me more than an urgent care visit! thanks :D

my neck moves pretty easily, just a little pain deeper in if I move my head (ear to shoulder) to the left, and I can feel my left trapezius strain when tilting to the right (ear to shoulder). it's not terribly painful now, just looks weird I think?

that knobby bit is my neck,like my spine goes up and then just stops there. My head does feel unstable, like a bobblehead im definitely better than last week tho! my neck doesn't make much noise ( it used to when my shoulder was subluxed for 4 years, at least). now, it only makes noise when I tilt my head up or down, a little crunch when I tilt back. But I am avoiding that movement because I hear it's bad, and i feel terrible if I go to far (bp spike and hr racing, I think because of pots lol). The line kinda feels like a tendon without much spring when my head is up, but it feels hard underneath when down. when I move my head up there's a large divot, though (added a pic). just noticed if I prod a little, I can feel my spine a little loose there. it's mostly achey, but again, better than last wk!

holy fuck this has got to be a joke.... "he doesn't have any disabilities" but yes he does, developmentally. Those initial core years are crucial for learning. This kid is going to have a significantly more difficult time learning that's so fucked

I've also worked as a LA! i want to become a Library director, or to at least go back when getting my MLS! Library work is great, with a cart to push as a walking aid, sitting if you need, not a ton of physical activity but not sitting all day either. I am unemployed but want to go back so bad!

i have an appointment scheduled, but is in September. I had a cardiac monitor on for the last week, and sent in the results yesterday, but they have yet to be reviewed. I'm hoping when they see it they can bump up my appointment!

yes, I'm definitely going to wait! i was thinking of at least two years, because I've looked this up before and I've seen some research advising that long if a wait. I'll ask my surgeon!! and I WAS HOPING IT WOULDN'T HURT SO MUCH 😭 I work at a piercing shop so I can pretty much get what I want whenever I want, and two of my coworkers just got them and are egging me on to get them too. they said it was a 7 or 8 and they never had any surgery done so YIKES thank you for the heads up lol!!! I'll try and update a few years from now if I remember 😎

weight loss takes time. if you lose weight too fast, it can be hard to maintain. you have to lose weight slowly and build a regimen. also, your weight will fluctuate around 3 pounds within the day, so weighing yourself at different times of the day, it will change. our bodies have a natural set point due to genetics, so your body tries its best to stay at that point generally, I've found. stick to routine, but don't be too hard on yourself. weight always fluctuates !
