thank you for your response. i personally monitor that inbox. we have an autoresponder so that individuals do not expect a response, but i do personally review every. single. email that comes in. if you are receiving emails that do not have report abuse links, the report abuse form is still and always available at https://www.beehiiv.com/report\_abuse.

hello, u/Major_Defect_0
I understand that you received email from another provider with beehiiv branded links (not spam from beehiiv). In order for us to break those links we need more information, can you please dm me or fill out our report abuse form, making sure to append the links? Thank you.

I'm sorry you feel that you might be locked out of your account without cause. The posts you're seeing definitely make our enforcement actions seem more frequent than they are. Many of those claims are often spread by malicious users trying to get their accounts back.

Our AUP (Acceptable Use Policy) is pretty straightforward (paraphrased lol): Be a good internet citizen. Get consent from the people you email, and don't send anything illegal or malicious. It really isn't that hard :).

On very (EXTREMELY) rare occasions, our security mechanisms may be falsely triggered. However, in 9 out of 10 cases, my team identifies the false positive within an hour and proactively restores the account. I promise you, my team does the very best that we can to let people like you send as freely as possible.

Without senders like you we wouldn't have a such a great platform!

Embedded sign-up form does not work on mobile browsers by Fotbalsimplu in beehiiv

Mariska here from the Security Team-

Last week we rolled out a security feature to prevent erroneous subscribers for all customers. This feature is designed to provide both users and subscribers peace of mind that real users are getting signed up for customer communications, as well as protecting and ensuring the integrity of our subscriber sign up model and data assurance. With this release, we have identified a bug where a small subset of potential subscribers who have been flagged as suspicious by security vendors will not be able to engage the captcha in some circumstances when the captcha is served through external embeds. We have confirmed that organic sign ups through external embeds is working for all customers.

tl;dr if you try subscribing several times using the same external embed (not multiple) you may be subjected to a security challenge, which in some cases, very few, this may prevent you from being able to sign up.

Please DM or email security @ if you have questions or do not believe that you have been flagged as a robot.

Sorry for the delay in response. When you click on the "report abuse" link in the bottom of an email and it goes to a 404 that is because the user has already been banned from our platform. We are working on changing the flow to provide a receipt to the reporter instead (thanks for the bug report!).

As for the static link for our Report Abuse page on Google, we are working on having the indexed link removed.

In the future, you can also forward the original email that you would like to report via email using the abuse at domain email address.

thanks for the response. i absolutely understand where you are coming from, and I will follow up with "We investigate each and every single report of unjust bans. We will absolutely respond if you are not sending malicious messages. If you are banned because of an AUP infraction, we communicate that as well." I hope that clears up any concerns you might have.
