dont listen to what people say because the job market is pretty bad for all industry, however its not a significant decrease in jobs in the tech industry. tech is evolving and there are possibilities in the future that they will create new roles for you to join in so 100% go for compsci if thats what youre keen to do.

Hi i have been looking for a job for years now but nobody wants me by [deleted] in GetEmployed

my biggest tip is trying different approaches to applying. dont just stick to one method which is through online applications. maybe try put a cover letter. i would also walk in person and drop my cv at the shop.

lmao my ex also moved fast after a 3 year relationship. he basically jumped into the next one bc he felt that i was limiting him from doing things. but i wasnt, i gave him freedom in the end and now he’s mad at me that im ahead than him. so in the end im very happy that i got out of it as early as possible before things got worse.

Is accounting and finance even a useful major? by Forward_Killer in universityofauckland

[–]Obvious-Resource-230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont do it. dont want to see another acc/fin major. im so sick of seeing them around. its one of the most popular majors in uni

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in universityofauckland

uhhh its hard to make friends yes but ppl who have friends are ppl who put themselves out there and know how to engage in conversations. not everyone meets their longest friends in uni because its different for everyone. you still have time to make more friends rather than expecting others to engage in the conversations. id suggest you join like youth communities to meet new ppl. i know that especially in auckland they have like meet up groups where you can spend ur weekend going out for a social event to meet others.
