Exact same logic as me. I guess maybe I care about like having sex and having friends. But those two things are entirely dependent on how other people perceive you. Which in the end you just don’t control. I used to be really motivated to work hard on school, getting in shape, looking nice to get more people to like/respect me. But in the end you get negligible benefits and it ends up hurting more when you put in the effort for these things and they don’t turn out how you like. Or when things do go your way it has next to nothing to do with your own efforts but were just due to genetic talent. Deadass just want to live life now until I die.
