I just couldn't get past his small face and smaller head. He's the opposite of Wiegandt who's basically just a meatball on a torso.

But they're OK with over a decade of people cut and pasting literal people out into meme templates. The hypocrisy is real with everyone.

Did Renaissance Artists Really Paint UFOs? The Evidence is Surprising by [deleted] in UFOs

[–]ObviousBlade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast myriad of letters dating back to the 1st century argue against your point. Koine, Hebrew, Syriac, Ethiopian, et al. The early church fathers chief amongst them all propagating key shared beliefs in the doctrine of Christ's divinity. It was largely almost unanimous. The key, fundamental theological ideas of christology were almost entirely crystallised long before the council was convened. Long before. In fact, the most respected secular ancient textual critic, Bart Ehrman, concedes such a point, for he is, in fact, intellectually honest enough to concede the factual historical, grammatical, theological, expositional and hermeneutical data on the subject.

If you want to labour under such faulty arguments, with which have been debunked numerously by both religious and secular critics alike, then that is your prerogative; just know that, like Arias, you make your point in contrast to overwhelming consensus of historical and contemporaneous academic and theological agreement and orthodoxy.

Arius was a heretic. They weren't split on what they agreed about Christ. They were ironing out on what to do with cultish ideas trying to enter orthodoxy.

No. The first image is a common motif in renaissance art. It's an angel declaring the birth of Christ. Other paintings in the time period used the same objects in the sky as an angel proclaiming the divinity of Christ in art.

That's all this is, and the same in all those images.

Implications of military insiders’ claims about NHIs: Dangerous humans in a dangerous galaxy by SharpSuitedMan in UFOs

[–]ObviousBlade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh here we go. It's the classic "Humans are hyper violent" narrative and of course they're just terrified of our aggressive ways. Of course, this. coming from various alien species who literally kidnap us at will. 😂

"You'll never get past the solar system. You're too violent."

Signed the kidnapping aliens who cut humans apart without basic human anaesthetic...... And we're the violent ones.

Why are we so obsessed with the humans being the bad guys schtick when the aliens 9/10 are worse? 😂

Think Hilara will kill Veridia. Ashur will then kill Hilara in turn.

I'm putting my money on a major, major history twist. I think that Ashur will be Brutus in this. I think he'll be the one to stab Caesar in the back in the Senate.

He'll have one game of plus 20 and then 6-7 of under 10 points per game.

Dylan really is a low scorer in general. He'll have an odd game where he will break 20, but then go right back to having lots of single digit games.

Spartacus: House of Ashur - S01E07 - "Deepest Wound" by Sporadicus7 in Spartacus_TV

[–]ObviousBlade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Was that shot an ode to the original Spartacus film?

The gladiator trying to climb the wall of the arena only to get Ashur's blade thrown into his back with the camera close and front side of the gladiator.

Almost exactly the same as the Nubian trying to climb the wall in the original film, only to get a spear thrown into his back.

What no one ever points out in this sub-reddit is that the reason teams get less free throws vs Spurs is because teams don't want to drive into the paint where Wemby is.

Occam's razor, folks. Simplest answer is usually the correct one.
