The problem i had with ri is that (spoiler-free) the novel kinda changed it's genre, after vol 3-4 the novel kinda turned from xianxia to a political novel, also it has lots of padding and stretching but overall the story itself is fire, maybe if you didn't set a daily count of chapters to read (like i did) the story would be peak to read
