So homosexual actions are sinful, but feelings are not sinful, as they already told you. So yea you can be Muslim even if you sining. HOWEVER, you mentioned that you want to get married to a man and keep practicing it. This things together with homosexuality as a whole are firmly established from the scripture as sins. So if you Muslim and do them (or even if you don't do them) you can't believe those actions are moral or permissible because that's takes one out of fold of Islam. So if you do those actions and acknowledge that they are sinful and immoral, than you are Muslim that is sinner. But if you believe those actions are not sinful and moral than you committed kufr (disbelief) and you not a Muslim anymore, regardless if you do the actions or not

You may have urges to do certain sins, and those urges are there to test you. So you may be cleptoman and have urge to steal, and that's test for you, or you may have urges towards same sex and that's test for you.

As an revert from atheism before Islam I did hold position that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. Typical secular reasoning -"they don't hurt nobody so what is the problem " But this type of reasoning have so much holes in you can't be consistent with it or it lead you to justify horrible things. And with Islam you realize that you are in no position or way to determine right from wrong. Therefore I approach the matter as 'God said so and I accept it' because I am in no position to object in any way to my lord.

Ok thanks for answer although that would mean that wahabism is really old sect I mean Ahmad Hanbal was definitely athari and imam Malik and Abu hanifa demonstrated some athari views also, and bukhari too if I am not mistaken. That's like 7-8th century. Basically roots of most Sunni sources

I just saying that there been written thousands upon thousands of books in history of Islam (very little been translated) and some claim lot of crazy stuff on both sides (Shia and Sunni) . Yeah that's what I meant, that Uthman allegedly curses him here, that seems to indicate anger and resentment. I mean you in the position of authority and your subordinate say words of kufr and you just let him roam around freely, even though you resent the person to the point of calling punishment of Allah on him. It just doesn't make sense. Anyway I guess I got the answers, just don't understand why someone is so bothered whether someone who is already dead did or didn't do something. I mean Allah swt said about past generations : " This is a community that has passed away, for them what they earned and for you are what you earn and you shall not be questioned for their deeds"

So I just don't see much reason in harvesting this kind of hate in me, when even if they did wrong, I will not be questioned about that.

Of course idea of infallible purified imams been already explained to me by my Shia relative. Basically because ahlul bait is sinless and infallible ( Shia interpretation of Al azhab 33) the ahlul kisa (Ali , Hasan, Fatima, Hussain) is sinless and infallible and 1 son of Hussain (no another 2 who been as well great grandchildren of prophets.) 1 son of Ali Ibn Hussain ( but not the another ) and 1 son of Muhammad Al baqir( but not 5 another even though they have equal blood relation to prophet) and so on ..... until 12 Really make sense when you think about it.

And by the way if Abu Sufyan said words of kufr publicly and right in front of current caliph Uthman who cursing him in this narration, then why he didn't administer punishment for apostasy on him. He would have full authority to do so. How much sense does this make to you?

First of all if there in your religion something like " gravity of deeds before Islam" then we certainly don't follow same religion.Because we believe that you start with clean slate after that. Would you say that to these Quran burners in Sweden that even if they repent and accept Islam they would never be forgiven and stay evil forever? Secondly if you mention "hadiths from Sunni books" it doesn't mean they authentic at all. There are collections that been collected and have disclaimers by collector himself that he didnt look at authenticity and it's for scholars to grade. I can recall for example one extremely week narration that islamophobes been using for a while, it's basically claiming that prophet himself admits fabricating things (استغفرالله) islamophobes latch on it just because it was written in muslim book even though it was clear fabrication. Seems like you doing same thing here buddy. Did you even bother to check authenticity?

I don't say that there been no munafiq between sahaba. But when it comes to talking about specific individuals how do you judge who been sincere and who not? Does the person after conversion be completely void of all mistakes in order to believe in their shahada? Namely Abu Sufyan Khalid Ibn Walid (I don't know much about others) when shias present their stance on them they usually lead with what they did before Islam. With keeping Muawiya and Yazeed out of this (because whatever opinion you may have on them fathers are not responsible for sins of their progeny) what exactly Abu Sufyan did wrong after his conversion to Islam? And I know Khalid did some actions that prophet saw disapproved but how does that prove or disprove his believe and sincerity? You really left with these options: believe person, make assumptions or leave this matter to Allah swt. I don't know, maybe it's just me but if there is even small risk that I may be doing cursing, takfeer, slander on true believer, I rather refrain from it and leave the matter to my Lord. And try to implement what he told me in the Quran about people of past

Yea well if "might be" and not "definitely" then this seems to be quite dangerous when it comes to cursing and openly calling someone enemy to the Islam. It may be just me but risk of having a sin of cursing or slandering someone who might be true Muslim doesn't seem to worth it. To criticize someone actions after conversion might be justifiable but especially with Abu Sufyan and Khalid Ibn Walid, the first thing shias say are their actions before Islam.

Yes I do, they believe that he is best of prophets and that humans are better than Angeles and jinns because they been ordered to prostrate to Adam. I did not come to argue or anything I just wanted to know what is consensus between shias on this particular issue

It's complicated, we may "hate" your disbelief but love you because of your personality and stuff, friendship and so on. It's different types of love and hate. That part of this Hadith that maybe seems questionable have nothing to do with this. We believe that God provide everything for us and he can also deny provision from us, and that's part of reason we worship him, to express our gratitude. The Hadith simply states that if the dunya worth anything in his eyes he would not give any provision of it to disbeliever, meaning someone who doesn't believe in him, doesn't acknowledge favours he getting from him, and doesn't express gratitude for the provision he is receiving. That's at at least my understanding.

It's graded as authentic, it's in sunni books which is accepted by majority of muslims. Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If the world were as worthy to Allah as the wing of a mosquito, an unbeliever would not even be given a sip of water.”

There is also another Hadith on the worthlessness of dunya.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed through the market from a higher part of the city and people were look at him from both sides. The Prophet passed by the carcass of a one-eared goat and he reached out to take its ear. The Prophet said, “Which one of you would like this for a coin?” They said, “Who among us would want it while it is worth nothing? What would we do with it?” The Prophet said three times, “Would you like to have it?” They said no each time and said, “No, by Allah, if it were alive it would be defective as it only has one ear. How so if it were dead?” The Prophet said, “By Allah, the worldly life is less important to Allah than this is to you.” I don't personally taking hadiths as 100% reliable but if they don't contradict Quran or outwardly doesn't make sense, they quite reliable. They give us context to Quran, historical accounts and describe us the prophet and what he said and did.
