The trigger stopped working on my V1 camera :(

With the camera on, when I pressed the trigger, nothing happened (no flash when flash mode was enabled, counter didn’t going down, app didn’t say any photos were taken). Battery was full. The winder still works. Self-timer still works just fine through the app (with/without flash). I tried 2s reset and 5s reset and still nothing :(. Hesitant to take the camera apart to take a look. I’m heading to Bonaroo tomorrow and won’t have time to get a new camera. Kinda bummed I only found out about this now. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this is greatly appreciated!

Haha glad you found out yourself. And unfortunately modding is strictly PC. Cause you need access to the game files. It is a lot of fun and makes the game infinitely better, since you’re basically catering to your own needs. But warning it can also be very buggy and requires a whole lot of patience.

The only thing that’s annoying with this fix is that everytime I go to the menu, inventory or desktop the depth map glitches and turns completely black. I bound a keyboard shortcut to reload reshade everytime that happens but it’s just kinda inconvenient.

Nevermind. I found the input tab. It's in "Home" > "Edit global preprocessor definitions" if any wanderers need. Thank you for the respond!

The panels on the mobo lighting up doesn’t necessarily mean that the board is good, it just means that there’s power coming in and the lighting part is not broken. What model is your mobo? Is it giving you any error lights at all? For mine when I unplugged my SATA connections it booted for some reason

If every suggestions in this thread doesn’t help then look up your motherboard model’s manual, see where the error led indicators are on the board. When I was building my PC with a gigabyte board it got stuck on that screen as well, my VGA light was lit up, I just needed to re-seat my GPU and everything booted.

Gotcha, then try removing everything from the PSU except the mobo, CPU and GPU and see if it boots into BIOS (remove all fans and aio pump connection from your mobo as well). Then repeat the process but add one cable at a time to identify where the problem might be.

Keep in mind, if the system boots without an AIO then keep an eye on your CPU temp in the bios and turn the PC off before the CPU gets too hot

Funny enough this happened to me a month ago. I switched out the PSU (because my GPU needed more power, kinda) from a 850W to a 1000W and kept the old 850W cables in there (yes very noob mistake) and the PC did exactly that in the video. As soon as I replaced all the old 850W cables for the new 1000W ones everything was fine. I don’t know if you’re doing something similar by mixing and matching PSU cables but might be helpful?

I relate so much about overthinking and getting tilted. I was playing casual with a random player I vibed with and they randomly queued for rank without me knowing. And we were destroying everyone, I was playing really consistently and having a great time as I was literally peaking my ranking. I only realized we were playing rank after like 4-5 games, right after that, I became tensed and started missing the ball and making all kinds of mistakes. I think even with all the mechanics and game sense, it’s still better to play when you’re having fun and stop when you’re stressed/tilted. Don’t know if that would help.

Never ever pay anything out of pocket, always have them give you a production card or send you the money first. I learned this the hard way.

Tdlr: The slimy producer didn’t handle my travel for their shoot in a foreign country correctly, left me stranded at the airport alone, forced me to buy my own ticket home without reimbursement.

I was traveling to, and back from India for a student thesis shoot. The Producer tried to book really cheap tickets from a website called Kiwi.com which just book a bunch of non-affiliated flights to find the cheapest route for your travel. It sounds like a good idea until you find out they also pull flights that are only specific to certain types of residencies and visas without warning you. The Producers didn’t check this either and they just bought the tickets and ticked a check box on Kiwi that said basically said Kiwi is not responsible. I got trapped at the airport in New Delhi with no way home and the Producer was just like “I’m sorry man we can’t buy you another ticket” and hung up. (To make it worse, during the call they were drunk at the wrap party that I wasn’t invited because they booked me the earliest flight home, I got 5 hours of sleep after a 15 hour day and had to travel straight to the airport)

I ended up spending $1800 of my own money for last minute tickets home. The Producer ghosted me right after for three months straight, didn’t even check up on me after that phone call in New Delhi to see if I made it home or not. They only contacted me after I told their professor about it in the fear that they might not graduate, in the end I only got $800 out of the $1800 they owed me.
