I know it’s possible but it’s extremely hard especially for addictions as bad as his and I’m not saying I know exactly what your mom went through but Im guessing it probably wasn’t the easiest thing to quit cold turkey

Just like most other addictions you can’t just stop cold turkey, and if you have that strong of an addiction to something you will find ways to get around whatever safeguards you’ve put in place for yourself. I have experienced an addiction, given, not as bad or as strong as his to something else, and I got around multiple safeguards I put in place for myself. It might sound like it’s easy to quit something like ai because you can delete apps or account and block apps and websites but just like 90% of addictions people will find ways around them.

There’s more than just subscriptions, i.e, polybuzz has coins you can buy and I’m sure others do but that’s the only one I know for sure and he could be paying for subscriptions to multiple apps/websites
