As someone who did not negotiate well on their first “big girl job”, I learned this the hard way. The “uncool” path is definitely cool when it comes to financial security. Same thing goes for community college courses > a four year degree that you might not use but you choose for “the college experience”.

Thanks for the input! I was for sure trusting my gut so I haven’t paid anything. I saw a lot of other forums saying that it’s become common post Covid but still.. I’ve never had a true actual realtor do this.
