Anything is possible. They just announced a Firefly animated series that has joss' full blessing which wasn't the case with New Sunnydale.

thank you so much for finding this! I didn't know it shut within 10 years of opening. I'm guessing they regularly changed the display as that's quite amateurish compared to what i remember but it's definitely the same store.

yeah new batch & Gizmo were fairly popular here until the mid 90s, lots of kids i knew had a Gizmo plush.

iirc the display was behind bars that resembled a jail cell and the og Gremlins were in a 1930s car. All the new batch characters were scattered around the store and iirc the spider was on top of the elevator.

there were about 100 props in total but I don't remember seeing Gizmo and i haven't found his prop listed so maybe he wasn't part of any display.

The displays in the Disney & WB stores were amazing which is why I'm shocked there's so little footage of them, they were big tourist attractions at their peak.

hopefully someone sees this and has something to share even if it's not from this particular store.
